Is this product suitable for the new MacbookPro 16 inch?

I would think that it would fit without any problem at all. The laptop just sits on the stand it doesn’t “snap in” or anything like that. I use it with my 15 inch 2018 MacBook Pro. The new 16 inch model is only slightly larger.

I have had the stand for few months but my Mac has started slipping off so it feels like it is losing its grip. Any suggestions?
