Hello Bello SPF 50 Kids Mineral Sunscreen Spray, Hypoallergenic Broad Spectrum UVA and UVB Protection, Reef Friendly and Water Resistant, 5 oz

I love this sunscreen. I use this everyday as my facial sunscreen. The hello bello brand DOES NOT clog my pores and PROTECTS my face, neck, chest and arms from burning. It leaves a very very light white cast after applying but that will quickly absorb into a moisturizing non greasy dewy finish. It’s not too thick or too watery. I have very sensitive skin and have been using tretinoin off and on for 12 years and recently survived the purging stage and was so afraid the lite citrus fragrance in the hello bello would burn or irritate my skin but it did NOT!! It smells sooo good and reminds me of the Naked Bee’s orange blossom scent 😍 I also use on my toddler and he says it smells like candy! I desperately needed to find a sunscreen that didn’t contribute to breakouts and finally tried this and I’m grateful I found it! Try it!

Fantastic sunscreen with non nano zinc. The “non nano” being the keyword here - it is not super small to get absorbed thru your skin into the blood. Why it matters is because had one been okay with sunscreen absorbing into the blood via skin, the chemical sunscreen (the ones that have oxybenzoate etc) would be equally good as the zinc one. Zinc provides physical barrier for UV rays to penetrate and this does a good job. I have checked against a thermal camera (see YouTube for tips on how to say what sunscreen is how good using thermal camera) and this pass with flying colors. It does white cast though - and why would a baby care, I agree. But I’m a grown person and I do lol. Now it’s not a terrible whitecast to the extent that it won’t go away. I give it 5 mins and rub it in again. The white cast mostly goes away.

Great, reef friendly, mineral sunscreen Great smell (kins of like fruity pebbles?). Doesn't create a white cast, which is definitely a plus.

Easy to use, good coverage. Doesn’t feel like it is too heavy or greasy. However have had products I like slightly better so rated 4/5 stars

Bought two of these because we're going to a resort in Cancun that only allows "reef-friendly" sunblock. My wife has been there before and she tells me that they do sell that type of sunblock at the gift shop at the resort, but that it's very expensive. So Amazon seemed like the way to shop for this before our trip. I saw a few of these type lotions on Amazon for cheaper per-ounce bottles, but they were too big. Also saw a few more expensive ones that were actually only one ounce containers. This Hello Bello brand seemed to be the sweet spot for price vs. size: they fit perfectly in a pocket or purse for carrying around all day. Also, thinking ahead, I like the way these open up so that we don't risk them spilling in our luggage or pocket/purse. I did extensive yard work today in the hot Arizona sun and decided to give this sunscreen a dry-run to see if it would run, sting my eyes, etc....to check for any adverse effects or discomfort while using. So I didn't get burned, but I didn't expect to since I was only in the sun for slightly less than two hours. However, I did note the following positive effects: - It actually SMELLED REALLY NICE as I put it on. That is a first for any sunblock lotion! Don't know what ingredient was in there (or maybe the lack of nasty reef-killing ingredients like Oxybenzone and Octinoxate?), but in any case, no yucky suntan lotion stink I've come to recognize and abhor over the years since I was a kid. - It went on perfectly smooth and did not feel slimy or sticky or greasy. Just a little "viscous" and it didn't quickly dry or disappear on my face, neck, ears, etc., like some of the more high-end/expensive products I've used in the past. But it was OK in this regard nonetheless. I'd take off half a start for this, but I'm rounding up to five stars because honestly, the nice smell made it a pleasure to use. - It didn't sting my eyes. And I tried...I rubbed my eyes a bunch of times due to all the sweat running down my face, but absolutely no sting whatsoever. Overall success for this product. I'll only use it for when going to the ocean or places that require "reef friendly" lotions. I prefer a couple of other products for everyday sunblock usage though.

Works well with minimal fuss. My face has yet to get sunburned since I started using it. Goes on neatly (requires a bit of rubbing to spread and ensure full coverage). No weird smell, doesn't burn eyes. Only thing to be careful about is not letting it sit out in the sun as it could get mushy if it gets too warm. I usually keep it in my cooler bag.

Personally this is the only sunscreen I'll ever use. It will not melt on your face in the heat, like many other sunscreens, so there are no issues with stinging or eye irritation - this is a major problem with pretty much every chemical sunscreen. Other (affordable) mineral sunscreens tend to have a major white cast that never fades. This sunscreen appears to have a white cast at first but will absorb and dry down to be invisible or barely visible in 10-15 minutes, sometimes 5. It is reef safe, cruelty free, and affordably priced. In addition to all these benefits, it contains other ingredients that are natural and beneficial to your skin, including jojoba oil. I love this sunscreen. Everyone I've given this sunscreen to has liked this sunscreen. HIGHLY recommended to anyone who regularly wears sunscreen. I really didn't enjoy wearing sunscreen before this and either looked white as a ghost or teary-eyed from chemicals in my eyes. I'm so glad this sunscreen exists.

1)Horrible smell 2)Titanium dioxide is not part of the ingredients, only zinc oxide (both are main ingredients in any mineral sunscreen) 3) So thick for a lotion texture I would never purchase it again!
