It is larger than I expected. It has enough room inside for credit card, cash, lipstick and perhaps a small aerosol perfume. The outside is made from sturdy material and velvet fabric. The inside is a type of satin/plastic material. It will not fit a smartphone but could possibly fit a small flip phone. Whether for a formal occasion or just a dressy night out, it works. The only tricky thing is the clasp. It has a small metal piece which the clasp grasps on to and you need to make sure it's secure. But other than that it was worth the money. There is also a chain if you don't like the handle.

Such a stunning bag

The purse is really cute, but smaller than expected. I could fit everything but my phone but that didn't take away from the quality or the look. It's a beautiful deep purple. I love that it came with different strap choices like the hard handle and chains with different lengths.
