Tire Chuck is not Closed Flow for Air Compressor. The chuck leaks air if not connected.

Great concept, but mediocre execution: It takes one hand to firmly push and hold the air chuck onto the rubber valve stem, while using your other hand to slide the locking collar forward to engage the three docking clamps. If the rubber valve stem is wet or slick from tire shine products or oily dirt, this air chuck will slip off. This chuck can’t clamp onto an all-metal valve stem. This air chuck has a built in check valve that retains pressure in the air line when disengaged from the valve stem, which is great for air compressors, but must be manually released when using with a manual bicycle tire pump.
