Great Chinese slicer
Obviously a western company making a Chinese slicer style knife so its not traditional however it is really rather good. I bought this at the same time as a Ken Hot wooden handle version, I prefer the Ken Hot knife however for ease of use this cannot be beaten. I'm happy to put it in the dishwasher, the steel is not too hard to risk chipping and its razor sharp out of the box (and east to sharpen). Definitely a keeper!

Tremendous knive
Very good the weight of it really helps you to cut and it was sharp enough but not like Japanese who are really sharp but it’s excellent enough to use, I have had other knives from this manufacturer for years and the price was very good as well

Good value and Hugh quality.
Finally took the plunge and bought a decent Chinese chef's knife. This is actually great value and the quality is top notch. I have a set of 'Global' brand Japanese knives and they are very poor. One blade actually broke clean off as I was using it. They are four times the price. It's got good weight to it. I hand wash only and it looks as good as new after several months of daily use. It's razor sharp and easy to sharpen even for the unskilled! About to buy the brand again.

Very good but not perfect.
For sharpness, it is no excuse to complain. As “Chinese style chef knife”, it is not heavy enough because Chinese like heavy chef knives in general. Besides, It is too chrome too shine. It is good when it is new. However, we would prefer it is not chrome and not shine. Because even if it worn out in the long run, un-shine surface can keep the knife good-looking.

Impressive
It is sharp only time will tell how long the blade holds this but what impresses me most is the weight. I have a blade half this size and i would swear it's heavier. Of course the smaller blade was a lot cheaper so perhaps the lightness is a sign of quality. Only niggle would have been the size being a bit unweildly but the lack of weight compensates for this by far.

Excellent all rounder.
This is a Chinese Chopper style knife not a cleaver. It is designed to chop vegetables, slice meats etc. Not designed to cut through bone like a cleaver. It is exceptionally sharp and well balanced and feels comfortable in the hand. This is my main go to knife. Excellent in both fine slicing, for example cucumber and tomato, and performs particularly well when cutting through large vegetables like swede, red cabbage and celeriac. Highly recommended.

This kitchen knife is excellent—super sharp, well-balanced, and very comfortable to hold. It slices through meat, vegetables, and anything else with ease. The weight feels just right, and the quality is impressive for the price. A great addition to any kitchen!
