How did I do it before!?
This tool is an absolute game changer. I regularly move full sheets of 18mm birch ply and mrmdf on my own, and it was always achievable, but difficult. And I've had my fair share of broken edges because of it. But this tool...I'll be damned if it isn't amongst the most used tools in my workshop. It makes moving sheet goods quick and easy (I've even used it on plasterboard [thats sheetrock to you yankees])

Great tool
I am a self employed furniture maker and move large sheets on my own all of the time and this tool is perfect for me. The bottom line is I could not do what I do without it. I lift 9mm to 25mm Plywood mainly with this although it is only supposed to go down to 10mm. I easily carry a 10ft x 4ft x 25mm Sheet of MDF on my own using this tool and because of the way it works you are carrying them at a height where you can go through doorways etc which is not possible on your own normally. The other thing is that it is built very well from very strong aluminium and it just feels like a quality piece of kit in your hand. The price nearly put me off as it seemed a bit steep but having used it for a while now I would say it was worth every penny.

Does what it does, well
This tool is very useful for lifting or carrying heavy thick sheets of board in an upright edge up way. Another size is needed for thinner sheets. The way it works limits the way that the tool can be used. The illustrations on the tool demonstrate this accurately. Accordingly it is not a complete answer to all heavy board handling problems. However, what it does it does very well. It is robustly made and I have no doubt will last for years.

Great product for the occasional use
This made moving 8 x 4 sheets of mdf much easier to do by myself but I would imagine they would become more difficult, the more sheets you have to move, as all the strain is taken on the elbow and shoulder. Especially with 18mm upwards.

It's ok, but you need strong wrists.
It's ok. Doesn't grip as well as I expected, but the main problem is the angle that your wrist is at when you use it. Makes heavy boards seem very heavy. I do use it, but not for really heavy boards -26mm venerred MDF full sheets for example.

Makes things somewhat easier
It’s good alright. Does exactly what it is supposed to. But something like 30mm MDF is incredibly heavy and the gorilla gripper doesn’t make it any lighter!🤣 But yes, fantastic design that does one job really well

Gorilla grip. You need gorilla strength.
So far very good. Hope it last forever (like it says it will) Be warned. Picking up 18mm plywood using this isn’t as easy as it makes out. You still need to be strong.

These come in three sizes the smallest are designed for thinner sheets the largest sheets 32mm think. I bought this (the middle size) because reviews for the smaller size said that they were not strong enough and it broke damaging the the sheet and causing injury to the user. This one seems strong enough and it has not broken. I have tried it on chipboard and that is heavy. It certainly is so much easer than trying to hold a slate sheet in your fingers. It is fantastic on level ground but not much good going up stairs - especially steep ones
