The best marker I’ve used so far. Works well on steel, even when covered in rust or millscale. Would be even better if there was a narrow tip version.

Bought to marking drill hole positions and for cut lines on oil drums. The line are a consistent thickness and stand out well against the oil drum paint (even yellow). Just remember that because the ink/paint is valve controlled you'll have to carefully press down on the nib a few times until the ink/paint starts to flow,

Works well but expensive

As an average Joe and DYI'er, I was replacing the outer and inner tie rods on my vehicle and I wanted to feel the *rush* of being a real mechanic so I purchased this to mark the placement of the outer tie rod with the "jam" nut. And woah baby, let me tell you, this thing did not disappoint. Update: for what its worth - 2 months after the repair and I am pleasantly surprised to report the pen has not dried up. Try this pen out if you're on the fence like I was. Great value (will probably be the only paint pen i'll ever need to buy for a lifetime), the marks I made on my suspension lasted for the purpose of my project, the tip didn't get gunked up when marking the suspension, and super easy to use - just shake and use.

I bought this in white, yellow and red. I use this for when I'm working on a cars, trucks or equipment. I use it to highlight timing marks or mark a driveshaft so I can put it back where it was located when I took it off. The paint seems to hold up pretty well as long as you clean and dry the marking area first. It doesn't take very long to dry. The colors stand out well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fantastic marking pen! Used to highlight timing marks on an engine while replacing timing belt. Paint came out easily, but did not run or over mark. Made a fine, highly visible mark, that dried quickly, and did not come off.
