I use this scarf for wrapping my hair at night. It works much better than the shorter width satin wrap I got at target. It's extremely slippery and has just a tiny little bit of give (stretch) which the generic satin fabrics I was using DO NOT have so I can get a snug but not too tight wrap that is soft on my skin. Because it is smooth and has some give it can be easily readjusted (tightened or pulled out and fluffed a little for slack). Living in a very hot humid climate I have found that after going outside and losing volume and moisture I can put a little bit of spray leave in on my hair and wrap it for maybe a half an hour and take it down- it turns out shiny, voluminous, and frizz-free like I just spent hours diffusing or styling which is pretty cool! It does look very pretty. The pink is brighter than the picture appears on my monitor, not quite as pastel but I do like the colors and if I did wear scarves for fashion I think would still be very happy with it. Nice product, well packaged, arrived pretty quickly! I would recommend it! **1 Year Update** Since purchasing this I have tried other scarves, caps, ect marketed towards my purposes but I end up still using this scarf. So my husband accidentally threw it in the wash a month or two ago. It still works but it's looking a little thin and washed out. I'm back to purchase my second scarf.

In my experience anyone can dress the part, but its the details that make the impression. A raggedy, damaged purse handle can undermine a great outfit. A curling iron burn can look a lot like a hickey. A ponytail can telegraph your snooze-button addiction. These faux silk scarves are a timeless addition to most of my work outfits, and a elegant solution to a number of issues. They also work well as a subconscious indicaton that the owner is someone who does things with consideration and intention, without the financial strain an accessory like this would seem to require. That's part of why these faux silk scarves are a hell of a deal: they're cheap. The other part? With a tiny bit of effort, they won't look cheap. But the kicker is even if you can't be bothered to take care of them they still last a while. Mine has made it over 2 years in a household full of little girls who love using it for dress up. Plus 8 separate work trips. If anything good in my life was as long lasting as these scarves, I wouldn't have to keep cheesecake in the fridge for emergencies.

This review is for the one with the black border with pink flowers. This silk scarf is a little on the thin side. It came to me neetly folded in a compressed cellophane wrapping which was slipped into a mailing envelope ...not impressive or suitable to arrive as a gift. The finish job is acceptable, but not flawless. The colors are clear and saturated, and the pattern is sharp. The border is a true black. The center background is a light khaki. The flowers in the center are light and dark shades of mauve pink, plus wine red. It drapes nicely enough over the shoulders. It would be better if it had a little more weight. I am happy with the scarf and am keeping it.

Can you say BEAU-TI-FUL!!!!!!! This scarf is everything, it’s pretty, it’s a very soft light weight silk material and it’s worth every dime!! I normally purchase my silk scarves at the hair salon I go to and they’re $25 each. Bye bye salon scarves, I’ll definitely be buying more of these scarves from Amazon. I’m thinking about grabbing a few for my sister as well.. So worth the money!!.. And if you’re into caring for your natural hair like myself then this is the scarf for you; it’s large enough to wrap long hair comfortably!! Thank me later, enjoy!

Beautiful scarf! The colors are rich and vibrant, and the scarf is heavy enough to look nice and not flimsy. It feels like real silk - I don't know if it actually is, considering how cheap it is. But the price is amazing, regardless! I use it to wrap my hair at night and it does a great job protecting it from breakage and dryness. I will absolutely be buying more of these.
