Not for radiator work!!
Do not use this product on an automotive radiator!!!! Melting point is way to high you will destroy your radiator Aluminum melts a 1221f and this stuff melts at over 1000f. To close for torch work get something with a lower melting point

Make sure you melt enough on one try.
Love it I made a wooden dresser and put the word zen in Japanese on the drawer.

Very small rods!
These were a lot smaller than I was expecting. I would have rather had 25 that were twice as big!

Lots of heat required, mqke sure you have oxy acetelyn.
They work fine, you just need a freaking oxygen acetelyn torch to even get thicker material hot enough to work with it. I was working with 1/8" thick plate. You need a really clean prep/work area to get it to work properly. I tried this with mapp gas as I usually use this type of rod with but i would have been heating my one work piece for 30minutes to get this to maybe work with mapp gas. Again it was more than likely the material not the rod. Thicker material requires a ton of heat.

Do not buy
Does not work I have used the harbor freight ones and work really good. Tried these rods on multiple aluminum types and only melts into a ball and will not stick
