It's about time!! works wonderfully, just go nice n easy, let the blades do their job, patience.. Everywhere else is smooth, it was alway's my back I couldn't do anything about it... until now. Dude this is genuinely the coolest shaver I've ever owned. I was pretty skeptical because I've owned so many different shavers and they all suck. But this one was so easy and painless and I feel so smooth. I never knew shavers could be good like this. Wtf, I'm genuinely in shock.

I used the original BAKblade for about a year and found it pretty useful. I don't have a super hairy back, but it's patchy and difficult to shave. Instead of buying more blades for the original, I decided to buy the 2.0 elite. These are my thoughts: Pros: - It seems much higher quality and looks better hung up (the old one was a blue plastic stick) - It takes up less space - It's shaped better for shaving - The replacement blades appear to be cheaper Cons: - The blades are much more narrow, so it takes longer and is harder to make sure you got everything. - I didn't understand it in the description, but when it says it includes three blades, it's designed for you to use three blades AT THE SAME TIME, like one of those multi-blade razors. I didn't really notice a lot of difference doing this, but it seems like it would work to simply remove two of the blades. - I had more razor bumps after using this than I ever got with the original, but that may just be because I wasn't used to the triple blade design yet. Both shavers have the same problem that non-electric back shavers have always had for me: it's not skin-smooth, so you have little tiny hairs that end up catching uncomfortably at your shirt for about a day. It also suggests that you can detach the blades and use them as a hand-held body shaver, but I wouldn't recommend this. For the chest, a good quality safety razor is still my go-to. But, it's definitely more affordable, effective, and easier to use than electrics. I think both BAKblades are good enough to recommend.

I don’t usually leave reviews, I spent thousands on Amazon on products to run a clinic. The Bakbkade works, I no longer have to be embarrassed to take my shirt off. Yes, I cut myself a little using it, but it worth it. I have a clean back. The carpet is gone.

When you take a first look at this shaver it looks like something that could scratch you badly with those long razors. However it does a great job of shaving your back and in all the months I have been using it I have never had any scratches or cuts after using it. I have tried several back hair shavers and this one is the best so far.

I have owned this product for about 6 months, and I wanted to leave this review merely saying it’s the best back shaver you can buy. I am a hairy guy, and this thing is the one you want to buy. I recommend doing it dry, and treat it like you would a back scratcher. Don’t dig into the skin, and just let it do its work. With the aid of a mirror you can clean up real nice in a decent amount of time.

Ah, the age-old struggle: Man vs. Back Hair. It's like mowing a lawn that no one asked for and that you can't even admire in a mirror without some serious contortions. Enter baKblade 2.0 Elite Plus, the DIY back hair shaver that promised to turn me from Chewbacca into a Calvin Klein model, or at least a human being without a pelt. First things first: The baKblade 2.0 is indeed effective. It’s like a Zamboni for your back, smoothing away the hairy ice to reveal the clean surface underneath. One pass and it was "Goodbye, Cousin Itt; hello, Fabio!" BUT—and this is a but bigger than my newly shorn backside—the experience was a little too "Braveheart" for my liking. Yes, it got rid of the hair, but it also scratched up my back like I’d been breakdancing on a bed of thorns. The aftermath wasn’t noticeable until I hit the beach and the salt water treated me to a sensation akin to tiny elves attacking me with flaming arrows. Note to self: Ocean water and freshly-shaven backs mix as well as oil and water, or cats and vacuum cleaners. On the upside, the discomfort made for an excellent conversation starter with the beach lifeguard, who was kind enough to direct me to the first-aid kit rather than the lost and found. My back didn't get infected, so I guess that's a win? If you decide to go for the baKblade 2.0, think of it like planning a minor surgery. Schedule a few days off for "recovery" and maybe stay away from large bodies of salt water, unless you enjoy living out your own version of the Spanish Inquisition. In summary: Effective? Absolutely. Comfortable? Not so much. Recommended for those who like to live life a little on the "edge." 🪒🔥🏖️

I was tired of always using a hair clipper or having to get a wax removal for my back hair so, after looking thoroughly online, I came across the BAKBlade. At first, I was very skeptical as I do have a lot of hair (literally all my back) but the price tag was justified and I went ahead and bought it. It truly delivers as far as a great back shaving device. The 3 blades went right through my thick hair without too much problems. However it did leave some skin redness in harder to reach places or where the hair was a bit thinner. I've used it twice now and I'll say this, it works best on shorter hair so don't delay too much after the first shave. If you have sensitive skin, I would recommend shaving underwater. Personally I just use it on dry skin and, as I mentioned, it was way easier and less harsh. But I highly recommend it. It's not too expensive, comes with a set of 3 extra blades and does a great job.
