Best tea strainer/infused I've ever owned and it feels like it will really last. After years of tea balls, small sieves etc. which all felt like a compromise, this has been a joy to use, especially with the lid to keep the steam in while it sits, and/or for using as a wee saucer to put the strainer when you are done (it'll have steam under it though, so needs a quick wipe first). Unlike many steel tea balls, it doesn't impart a metallic taste, so you can truly enjoy the flavour of your favourite teas, even if you leave in in your cup or teapot for a while. It's clearly built to last, I expect to have this forever. The fine holes are excellent at keeping loose bits out of your tea. I wondered if the tiny holes might clog, but they really don't, I think because of the incredibly smooth sides and precision cut of the holes. Even when I squeeze my loose teas to get every last drop out I've never had to struggle to clean it, which is something I factor highly when rating products. I also use it for straining single cup servings of home made nut and seed milks, saves the faff of making larger quantities and having to squeeze for ages through nut milk bags. Would probably be good for freshly squeezed orange juice too if you don't like 'bits'. It still looks like new after 100s of uses so far including medicinal teas like Horsetail which often cause residue build up on metals. No sign here, and not a hint of rust either, it really does maintain it's good looks. Having seen an earlier review I must say I'd be more tempted by the two handled version if I'd known about it as it would then sit in things with wider necks, but for my cups, mugs and small teapot this really is a brilliant piece of kit that I have already bought as gifts for others because I rate it so highly. The only teansy downside, and it really is nit-picking incase it is relevant to others, is that the one handled version sometimes needs to sit off centre of a cup/mug to be balanced sometimes meaning some steam can escape a little bit from the edge of the cup, but really this is so minor as to not spoil my enjoyment at all - I love it!

I bought this as part of a present for a friend for Christmas. She loves her tea and I have spotted her looking at these for the past year or so. It was a resounding success. The infuser comes in a box so wrapping is easy, it fits inside any mug - it is probably too tall to fit into a cup, it will also fit into my friends three person teapot so she can make enough tea for visitors. The mesh worked well - allowing the tea to infuse but not so much as a speck of tea leaf escaped. The only flaw in the design is if you put the little hat on the top of the infuser whilst it is infusing to keep the tea hot it is too damp to put on a wooden surface to stand the infuser on when it is removed from the mug as the infuser really needs to sit inside the deeper recess to avoid flooding - my friend decided to just balance the deeper side on the top of the infuser to avoid the problem. The used tea leaves emptied easily and with a quick rinse they were ready for the next brew. I would imagine there will be discolouration over time but no more so than a teapot using teabags and the usual remedies will soon put things back to pristine condition. My friend declared the result of her first brew to be sheer nectar and was making plans as to which tea leaf she was going to buy next.

Great tea strainer that does exactly what you expect. Wide enough to not fall into even very large cups. I bought it hoping that it might filter out some of my hardwater, but it doesn't. Which it never claims to, so that's on me.

There is no doubt that a good quality loose tea is far superior to the "sweepings up" dust which is so often put into tea bags. Unfortunately I had reverted to using tea bags as I was finding the tea balls and other gadgets I have just weren't voluminous enough to give quality tea leaves the room they need to infuse properly, and using a tea pot isn't always suitable on a regular basis for a quick cuppa. The rubbish tea bag taste was really getting me down so I decided to look for an alternative gadget which would get be back to using quality teas. I found this one on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try. It is fantastic! It holds more than enough tea to give a superb brew and there is plenty of room for even large tea leaves to infuse and move about. All it needs is a few "dunks" in the cup until your choice of brew strength is reached. I haven't used it in a tea pot yet but I'm sure it will be perfect for that too. It is easy to fill, easy to empty and easy to clean. In fact I was so impressed with this inexpensive piece of kit I bought another one as my wife and I often have different teas. I think it will also be great in the summer for home made teas using herbs and plants from the garden. It is very well made from high quality steel and the little lid/base is a great little touch. You will not be disappointed!

I purchased this item in 2014 and have been using it regularly since. The infuser came packaged in a small box, albeit with somewhat poorly translated English. The infuser feels very smooth and has shown no signs of wear and tear over the last 2 years, despite frequent use. There are no signs of rust or discoloration. It is very easy to clean, often simply requiring warm water. After forgetting some tea leaves inside for a couple of days, I was even able to clean it in my dishwasher, despite no mention of the safety of this on the box. I've tried this infuser with many different types of brands and loose tea leaves and it consistently leaves very little particles in my drinks, thanks to the small size of the holes. It fits nicely in all of my mugs, and I can leave it sitting on the lip while I wait for my tea to be ready. I have no regrets about purchasing this model, and can easily recommend this tea infuser.

Spitzenverarbeitung, das Sieb ist so engmaschig, dass absolut nichts im Tee zurückbleibt, und es ist total einfach zu reinigen, es klebt nichts fest, bleibt nichts hängen, einfach optimal. Einzig schade ist, dass das Sieb in größeren/breiteren Teetassen (1/2 l) leicht reinrutscht, weil die Seitenhalterung nicht einhängbar ist. In 1/4-Liter-Häferl oder normalen Tassen ist das aber überhaupt kein Problem

Bonjour, J'ai utilisé, ce matin, pour la 1ère fois l'infuseur à thé. Il est parfait!....pour les raisons suivantes : - le tamis est très fin, donc très peu de dépôt, les feuilles de thé ont toute la place pour s'étaler entièrement, le thé infuse vite et bien, la languette pour le manipuler est très pratique, le couvercle permet de poser l'infuseur quand on le sort du mug.... Je pourrai même l'utiliser pour mon thé du pt déjeuner que je fais dans un gros bol . Je suis entièrement satisfaite de cet infuseur à thé. La livraison a été très rapide. L'emballage parfait. Pour info j'en ai acheté 2, j'ai offert le 2ème à un de mes enfant et je n'ai aucun doute à ce qu il soit aussi satisfait que moi. Je recommande vivement cet article pour les amateurs de thé, mais attention, avant de l'acheter, ne pas oubliez de comparer ses dimensions avec les récipients que vous utilisez. Cordialement .

Es un filtro perfecto para los amantes de las infusiones. Lo recomiendo. No deja pasar nada que no sea liquido, apenas un poco de polvo, como cualquier filtro de papel. Se limpia perfectamente. Tiene muy buena calidad y es práctico. Queda muy elegante si lo quieres sacaer a la mesa cuando tienes invitados. Me encanta

Ça marche vraiment très bien pour toutes les tisane et les thés. Le nettoyage est hyper-facile et sous l'eau il peut émettre du son très agréable. Il est en acier et semble être de bon qualité et excellente fabrication.

Ottimo prodotto, resistente e di qualità. Avendo le maglie molto strette, filtra perfettamente senza far passare residui. Il coperchio può essere usato sopra per non disperdere l'aroma durante l'infusione, oppure come pratico piattino dove appoggiare momentaneamente il filtro per non farlo sgocciolare in giro. Lo consiglio.
