Amazing little bag for my Harry Potter obsessed little one! Got it for Halloween but she uses it all the time, she loves to show it off

As a major harry potter fan my child still uses this bag after a year of buying it. She loves it! It’s good quality and has enough room to store all her bits. Because it’s an interactive toy she also plays with it as part of her toys.

Just as the pics and videos show really, well made, makes noises etc. I've bought granddaughter a purse pet before so was aware there isn't loads of space inside, but enough for a small jelly coin purse, lipbalm and a collectable toy all the important stuff when your almost 7 and popping to Aldi with your parents. She loved her last one and uses it as both bag and toy so I knew what I was buying into. I've actually bought this to put away for christmas 2023 (I know 7mnths early), but it's been on my watch list for a couple of months after seeing someone on YouTube who bought it for her daughters birthday but it wasn't out in the uk yet, it's only just starting to appear on retailers websites now with rrp £35 so i was chuffed to find it on a very good offer at the time. I think it will make a really lovely gift for any Harry Potter fan.

A great looking item that will make any fan of Harry Potter or Owls perhaps happy, the sounds and reactions are fun for a little while but the main purpose of this, aside from looking good is that its a shoulder bag. As a bag its not so great, the batter compartment and electronics inside take up well over half of the space and the hard plastic shell that surrounds them makes it difficult to put things in and take them out. Smaller items can get lodged in the corners at the front and only small nimble fingers can get in. If your kid just wants something that looks like a bag but doesn't need to carry much then perfect.

I am not the biggest Harry Potter fan, and even my daughter only shows a passing interest in the series, but there is no doubt that owls are pretty cool and this Hedwig purse pet is undeniably cute. This particular purse pet comes in an open faced retail packaging. Fortunately there is an outer plastic wrap to stop the purse from becoming grubby in storage or transit. Removing the purse pet from the packaging and you can feel how soft and fluffy Hedwig is. As well as the purse there is even a Harry charm that can be attached to the strap. It comes supplied with batteries for demo purposes, and while they should last a while, you may need to replace them with a free trio of AAA's. The interior of the purse is quite small despite the relatively large size. This is largely due to the battery compartment and mechanism. I do feel this could be better designed to utilise the space or create extra compartments. The interactive features are interesting. With basic games and responses that can be triggered from different contact points on the purse(buttons). My daughter loved it and found it really cute. My only criticism is the colour and material. Obviously they are limited by the source material but I can see it getting grubby very quickly. I would have liked to have seen a protective lining and maybe the base to have been made from a different easy to clean material (for when a child places it on a dirty surface). Super cute and a novel design. If you are a fan of the wizarding world or just like owls then this is a lovely little toy.

This is a super-cute little purse for young HP fans, with lots of sounds and actions for added entertainment purposes! The design is really appealing (daughter: "It's so fluffy!") and while the purse interior is quite restricted and can't hold much, it gets used more for pretend play in our house than as a carrying bag. It takes AAA batteries (3) and comes with a carrying strap and a small HP charm that you can attach to the strap (or other things like school bag/pencil case). This makes a great novelty gift for young HP fans and is an absolute bargain at the current (reduced) price of under £20!
