John Aird Plain Duvet Cover Bedding Set 50% Cotton (King, Lime)

Very quickly developed lots of unsightly and uncomfortable bobbles on first use which are not removed by washing. Seller refused refund on grounds I have not taken sufficient care. Strange that no other bedding I have ever possessed in more than 50 years has done this. Will have to throw away.

I bought the aubergine colour, it was actually very nice looking when I first put the set on my bed and pillow. The fabric was soft and comfortable to sleep on. However when I took it off it had stained my pillows, duvet and mattress overlay cover and turned it red. I'm quite disappointed, this is not good quality at all. Maybe it's best to wash a few times before using just to make sure it doesn't stain your pillow or mattress. Personally I wont be buying any more of these beddings. Hope this helps.

Cheap quality fabric. Very thin and scratchy. I ordered the black coloured duvet set, the colour fades after washing, I had to wash duvet separately as the dye runs and rubbed off onto my hands and my bedsheets and stained them.

I bought 2 sets in white for the spare bedroom.White is a dirty grey so disgusting I've binned them.I usually pay a lot for bed linen and I will do in the future as I hatell dirty white especially when you purchase their pillow cases which are white white I'm 1 angry customer.

Rich aubergine colour - softer than percale and almost silky. Really impressed with prompt service and delighted with colour which was to match curtains. Extremely close to that displayed on website. Superb value for money - could afford several sets although can't be sure they'll stand up to long term laundering

the sheets are fine but be warned about colour run. washed 4 times now and still really stain the colour catch sheet in the washer. so much so that the white plastic poppers are now pink. my son who sweats from his head when sleeping got a pink stain from the pillow after the first wash. it's fine now it's been washed a few times. best washed on its own and at least 4 times before use

Got these for dog duvets but they hold onto the hair so not so good for that.Nice bright colours but the red leaks in the wash at low low temperatures , we now have some pink towels.Cheap and have propper popper fastening so value for money.Arrived quickly too.

Terrible quality..to hard..washed twice and still hard..waste of money
