I've always had to have a high level of First Aid training (it came with the job), so was a little dubious about buying these Tourniquets - especially at what appeared to be such a low price. After the COVID enquiry started, it transpired that a lot of similar items had got into the NHS supply chain, and the plastic arm that's used to pull the tourniquets really tight were snapping under normal conditions - something that should never be permitted as most items underwent vigorous testing. Notwithstanding this, they were. Having received the items, I immediately tested one on myself - this is NOT something that I would recommend that anyone does unless they have a high level of training; it can cause great damage if you're not careful. Notwithstanding the above, I was happy to discover that the plastic tensioning arms are up to the task, and the supply cut-off to limbs was more than expected. I have yet to use these "in the field", and I hope never to need to - but at least I know now that they will be able to endure that for which they're intended.

Versand und Lieferung durch Amazon super schnell! Ja, es sind nicht die teuersten und somit auch nicht die aller allerbesten Tourniquets. Aber bei fachgerechter Anwendung und gelernter Handhabung, erzielt man auch mit den günstigsten tourniquet einen positiven Effekt. Der Bolzen/Knebel ist stabil und bricht nicht, außer man vordert es hinaus und legt es auf eine Kante und schlägt drauf... Machen nur die Spezialisten. Profis wenden das tourniquet richtig an. Handbreit Abstand zur Wunde, nicht auf Gelenke, drehen bis die Blutung steht, halbe Umdrehung mehr, fixieren, Zeit aufschreiben. Damit kann leben gerettet werden. Passt gut unter den Motorradsitz, im Auto im Verbandkasten, im Wanderrucksack, immer ... Ein muss für jeden der sich mit der Verwendung damit betraut ist.
