100 to 1 in the Stock Market: A Distinguished Security Analyst Tells How to Make More of Your Investment Opportunities Paperback – 1 Jan. 2015

Bought after Nick Train of Lindsell Train frame mentioned the book in an article and it was a great read about how to genuinely make a good return from the market and how it could have been done in the past. Lots of timeless advice and an amusing read and all written over 40 years ago.

One of these best investment books i have ever read

I read this after reading Chris Meyers 100 Baggers book. While you are reading these sort of thing, you start to get caught up in it all and think: "Yes, that how I should invest". But really, is it? Both books are just relying completely on 20/20 hindsight. You pick a stock that has multiplied itself by 100 in price over some period in the past, and basically say: "how great would that investment have been?". Well, yes and no - even with hindsight. You start to look more closely and you see that most of these had drawdowns of 60%, 70%, 80%, often multiple times. Would you really have held on? Really? Overall the book was a good bit of old-fashioned fun. It would have been much more fun at £9.99 though.

Great book wanted to read it for ages

A great read...a must

I've read over 100 investing books but this is the best I have read so far.The author talks about many qualitative aspects of investing which is at the core of successful investing.He talks about important fundamentals, as well as the psychological factors that you need to know to pick superior stocks.

Warren Buffet using a lot of quotes from this book. It’s simple and easy to understand.

I find this book a gem in my investing journey. A lot to learn. Need to read it again and again. It increases conviction. Literature is a bit difficult for a novice.
