Best Grooming Tool Ever
My cat is short-haired and doesn’t have a very dense or plush coat, she’s very normal domestic house cat, not a breed, but she still sheds and moults a lot. Saw this type of brush being used by a groomer on IG, thought I’d try: THE BEST THING I’VE EVER BOUGHT HER! Even the gentlest brushing removed lots of loose fur, and the best part, she relaxed and purred the whole time I brushed, even allowing me to flip her onto her side to do the belly, which is usually a no-go for any grooming. Extremely effective, very well made, nothing sharp or hard, the best grooming tool, and a great price.

Best desheeding brush ever
I have a shepherd cross lab and she heavy sheds twice a year I was getting fed up with so much hair in my house all over the furniture I had to buy a brush that would get her undercoat out and all the dead hair so I looked on here and bought this brush, I have to say it is amazing. It is better than any terminator brush I bought it D shed the old hair and has stopped the spread of hair all over the house as much as you can see by the photo. This is from just one Brush in 10 minutes all that dead undercover hair coming out , it was on a black Friday deal as well so it was even more of a bargain. It cost me about six quid. This is the best six quid I’ve ever spent especially if you have a German Shepherd this is worth a buy she also actually enjoys being brushed so win win win

Great piece of kit but doesn't work on every coat
I bought this originally for our English Cocker Spaniels who whilst they have beautiful coats, one (Flossie, 13yrs old) does moult a fair bit. Whilst I used it on her it was BRILLIANT for getting out any dead coat, fuzz or anything like that. You do need to be very careful with this though as it can end up pulling the coat a bit especially if there are lugs. If that is the case, it's better to go through the lugs with a different comb or cut them out. Whilst you might think that defeats the object of this comb or doesn't. This will clearly get out a lot of the fur and fuzz that a standard brush simply wouldn't touch. It works beautifully on Flossie but hardly at all on Dinky (10yrs). When I use it on Flossie, it gets out a lot of dead fuzz meaning there's less to vacuum up. If I do a good brush on her with it that usually lasts a week at least. It has ended up working best on our cat - a long haired Moggie who is a very pretty puss but is constantly moulting. Her coat is fairly dense so I have to check for any lugs first and then I go through it with this. I can use this on her daily or every other day but since using it on her the first time her coat feels a bit thinner and lighter. This is now an absolute key piece of grooming kit for our household. My only criticism/ observation is that you do end up with residue on the brush "teeth" which I'm guessing are the oils and dirt from their coat and skin. Cleaning this off is not easy because of the shape of it so really need to think about that. Should have been considered in the design. Other than that, all in all, for the price it's a brilliant piece of kit! Highly recommended.

Needs a careful hand
Really solid product that feels like it will last forever, easy to clean, gathers a lot of hair on a long haired cat, and works ok on my short haired cat too. However on my long haired cat, I do have to be very careful with the wide side to do teeny tiny strokes on a new area or the teeth can get stuck in his thick undercoat and pull, hurting him. Still, he let me get some of it done, and it needed doing badly. I wish I'd bought it sooner.

My old cat looks nicely groomed
Works great at removing matting on my old cat. She looks a lot tidier as she’s stopped grooming. She’s fairly short haired and I use it for a bit and then stop as she doesn’t like it for too long. I was brushing her but this makes her look better groomed than the brush. Great product, well made and comfortable to use.

Actually RAZOR-CUTS Pet Fur..NOT a de-shedding Tool!
PLEASE BE AWARE…THIS TOOL ACTUALLY RAZOR-CUTS PET HAIR; it is NOT a de-shedding comb. Likely my own fault for not properly reading the Reviews & research for this ‘de-shedding’ & de-matting comb. But, now that I have tried & tested it for myself, I need to let you know that this tool actually cuts pet hair! It does NOT de-shed, as is generally/loosely described within this Seller’s advertisement. Each curved tooth is an actual BLADE; a very sharp blade. The sharp cutting blade is underneath the ‘over-curve’ of each tooth (see photos). As you drag the ‘combing’ tool through your pet’s hair, it literally cuts fur off; it does NOT lift & gently take-out loose & ready to shed pet hair. Therefore, as far as I can tell, there really are no benefits in terms of limiting pet hair shedding all over your house; it only serves to create shorter lost/shed pet hair everywhere. I was specifically looking for a tool to actually rake-out Brenda’s (our beautiful black Show Cocker Spaniel) loose & ready-to-shed fur, in the hope of minimising her hair-fall/shedding all over our home. This tool doesn’t de-shed pet hair/fur, it has literally CUT lots & lots of Brenda’s hair off each time I have gently raked it through her coat. Please consider the suggestive photographs of pets alongside huge bundles of their own fur in this Seller’s advertisement pictures; this tool actually RAZOR-CUTS hair/fur & does NOT ‘de-shed’ fur. My own fault I know; I certainly assumed, when I viewed the product description & especially the photos, that this tool would help to take-out lots & lots of Brenda’s loose & ready-to-shed fur & would therefore help to combat the oftentimes overwhelming amount of shed dog hairs throughout our home; it DOESN’T ! However (if you feel confident enough to try!), then it is a very good tool for thinning-out your pets fur/hair & really does thin-down their winter coat ready for the summer & warmer months; it really does glide along Brenda’s top coat smoothly. As another positive, I have found that this tool really does tend to glide over Brenda’s smooth longer top coat, leaving it intact, whilst CUTTING away her fluffy undercoat. So…Brenda’s fluffy undercoat gets a very short razor-cut, a little like using clippers maybe, but without cutting the outer/longer/smoother topcoat fur(?). However, if like me, you don’t want to risk making a real mess of your lovely pet’s fur coat, please be mindful that this is a tool where each comb tooth is an actual BLADE. You absolutely WILL be giving your pet a haircut! It is NOT a de-shedding tool! I think that it is also important to note, that this tool doesn’t hurt your pet if you are careful, as each blade is situated underneath each rounded tooth; there are no sharp edges which could harm your pet. I do hope that this Review helps you to make an informed decision about this product.

If your dog moults, you need one of these.
My Son calls it the Puppy Defluffinator 3000 ! :) If you have a problem with your dog moulting hair all over your house, you need one of these. Way more effective than a standard brush. Brushing with the 'defluffinator' removes handfulls of puppy fluff with each stroke. A 95% reduction in how much hair gets dropped in the house, thus reducing the vacuuming work load. Very easy to clean the hair out of the defluffinator with a single stroke of your hand. Top purchase. Top quality. 5 stars from me.
