I bought a second hand car which has the old-style key that does not fold away into its fob. This key-sheath keeps the key clean and prevents it from digging holes in the lining of your trouser pocket.

Bought for a very jagged key that was scraping items in my pocket and my fingers. Fits any key, tough and flexible and is designed to be cut for smaller keys, if necessary.

These key protectors are perfect for me and my pockets and fit nice and tight I always keep my keys in my North Face or Canada Goose jacket pockets and I'm always worried about the tips of the keys making a hole or wearing the pockets down This prevents that from happening and they have a nice Silicone feel to them I've shown what they look like on my keys and how much of the key they cover and how much would be "left" so you can see the length of them Would definitely recommend these without hesitation

These seem to be the only thing on the market that stops a loose key from making holes in your pocket or stabbing you in the leg when you sit down (or does similarly to a bag with a fabric lining). They work, but they also get loose over time and tend to fall off. I've attached a thread to connect them to the keyring to stop this happening, but it's a fragile solution (I should, to be fair, use a much stronger thread, especially if I can find something elastic). It would be nice if there were some such attachment in the design, but it's hard to see how that would work given the need to trim it to size. I could imagine adding a metal clip or something that keeps the attachment tight, instead. Incidentally, they're not quite big enough to take a True Utility key multitool, which similarly could be used to keep the sharp teeth of a key away from a leg, but works much less well. Anyway; other than their tendency to come off, they're great, I have no new holes in my pocket, and my leg remains unstabbed. I thoroughly recommend them, but do either check whether you've dropped one whenever you use it, or find a hacky solution like mine...

Very handy little silicone sheaths to have. After a key tore a hole in the pockets of my gym shorts, I got a set of these to cover the key. Work great, fit most standard key widths, and can cut them to suit key length. Good quality.

I love the color selection and fast shipping time, the quality is great and they fit perfectly on my car key, gas tank key and house key from minute key. The only con is that it doesn’t fit one key for a deadbolt on my shed from key.me I notice it’s a tapered key head type, I’m assuming keys of that style unfortunately don't fit well enough to the base to stay on the key. I’m just going to Home Depot to replace the key that doesn’t fit with a copy of a style that will fit. This product helps enormously with the sound of the keys jingling and preventing scratches on my items.
