Amazing stuff. My elderly dog has arthtritis and drags his front paws slightly when walking. I searched for 'something' to help him as one of his nails is wearing away and a bald partch developed just above the nail, which looked sore. Musher's secret came up on my search so I bought some in the hope of a solution. I thought if it works for sled dogs it might help my 15 year old staffy. He doesn't like his feet being examined but when I put this cream on his paw he wasn't bothered so now doesn't bat an eyelid when I plut it on him. I'm using it on a daily basis. Sorry to go on, but this cream is very good. The once bald patch has been sealed off and the hair grown back. The nail that was being worn down is now protected from further damage. Great for dogs paws, have used throughout my dogs life and she is 10 years old. Great to use all year round. Adds comfort to my dogs life, allows her not to be effected by salted roads and hot pavements so the functionality is brilliant. Best of all it isn't licked off as it doesn't smell!

Seems a bit pricey but it's pleasant to use and the dog doesn't try to lick it off his paws. The product smells nice and it spreads easily; dog doesn't object to his foot treatment. Have used it daily and it does seem to be having an effect on the condition of his very dry pads. Will continue to use it and see how much more improvement will be seen.

Iv tried many different items for my frenchie’s nose with no results but this was fantastic results from first use, his nose is not as cracked/dry as before, a little expensive but definitely worth every penny would definitely recommend

Our new rescue dog was in poor-ish condition and had really cracked, rough pads. After a long walk or a run about on the grass she would nibble her feet and was clearly uncomfortable. Soaking with very dilute bicarb of soda made some difference to the itchiness, but didn't reduce the cracking. This stuff works - it is pleasant smelling and easily applied, a thin film applied every day, at first, (to the pads and between them) and now every couple of days has made her more comfortable, reduced foot chewing (and therefore hot spots) and seems to stop mud from balling up and sticking between her pads as well. The larger cracks are still there and will I suspect be slow to heal - but the roughness is much reduced. Unlike Vaseline it seems to be easily absorbed so no patches of stickiness on the floor. Four weeks on and we have a happier dog. June -update. This stuff really works - the large cracks in her pads are gone as is the rough, flaky surface. She tore a pad recently and applying this seemed to speed healing and certainly stopped her nibbling it as it healed. Once a week now for maintenance - though I'll go up to every few days again in winter when the salt is on the ground. She likes the process as well and lies on her side to get her feet done. The pot still has lots in it - so good value too. December update - what great stuff. Plenty left in the pot and today it proved its value once again. She came in from a long walk in the woods in the rain and started to do the itchy foot dance (racing round, pawing at the carpet, biting her feet and then racing again) despite having dried her feet. A quick soak in dilute bicarb in case she had walked in something toxic, a good dry and a coat of Musher's Secret. She curled up, sighed and went to sleep. November 2016 update! Just finished the first pot and ordered a second. Really good value for money.

This is amazingly good.. first read about this amazing product first.. I never believe what they reviews say I do my own research on the Internet.. This is an amazing product Ford you dog paws you dogs pads get dry then they crack which can cause your dog to feel so uncomfortable we all know dogs can not tell you this in winter this is a must to have the freezing cold winter months can cause a lot of damage to your dogs paws the salt is a very bad thing in winter.. Imagine you had a cut on your had the put salt on the cut its going to make you loving dog feeling sore and in pain same in summertime hot weather on the paths. Concrete. Hard services with there paws drying and cracking your loving dog could get a infection in the Open cracks.. For the price it cost it a lot cheaper than going to the vets with the pads on the paws being pain ful and sore.. There reason I am writing about this produced because one my Yorkshire Terrier paws have never been so good no cracking no drying out. this is amazing I tried many many of these products for my little dog.. This is the best by a long way..i did read that this was.made for the Huskies in the Snow to stop them getting frost bite when they where pulling the sledges in the Canadian..Mountains ....

Works great, protecting my dogs paws from raod salt.

Nice smooth balm which easily rubbed in to my dog's paw pads. Too soon to say what the benefits will be but hoping it will give some protection against grazing the top layer of her paw pad when on long walks. It certainly seems to make her dry pads more supple.

It's so good that even the dog loves to lick on it LOL. But in all seriousness, this is good quality paw balm. Helps keep those paw pads nice and soft. It smells good and it's a nice size packaging. We use it every day and still have half of it left after almost half a year. Definitely worth the price.

I bought this product because I have slippery wooden floors and an old dog who struggles to get a grip on it. I read a claim online that this product would help. It didn't make an ounce of difference. If anything it made the situation worse.
