Wish I'd bought this one the first time. The pegs fit the hole perfectly unlike the cheap one I bought first time.

Dadurch dass der gesamte Bohrer lackiert wurde sind auch die Schneidfasen stumpf und können sich nicht durch das Holzbohren! Ich musste zunächst alle mit einer schlüsselfeile freilegen und dabei stellte ich fest, dass die Schneidfase zum bohren für Holz viel zu stumpf ist! Im Video nochmal genauer erklärt. Update nach praktischem Einsatz: der Bohrer lässt sich mit erheblichen Kraftaufwand verwenden leider ist der Bohrer stumpf daher bohrt er nicht sauber und nur mit erheblichen Mehraufwand. Für einen Bohrer den man mit der Hand benutzen muss absolutes nogo! Die Schweißnähte halten bisher auch nach gröberer Benutzung ist alles recht robust also hier ein klarer Pluspunkt tatsächlich. Sonst wäre der Bohrer bei einem Stern gelandet

Tool works great. Simple and good quality.

Works well on both green wood and dry wood. Easy to carry on your belt or backpack. Only down side is that it's painted all black so be careful where you set it so you don't easily misplace it.

Really versatile tool that takes up very little packing space. The overall quality is good but, as can be seen in the picture, the weld was not perfect. It did however survive my quite punishing test. Tried it out by making a bushcraft sledge hammer with material I found along the path. Took me roughly half an hour to drill through a 20 cm soggy pine log and to carve and auger (?) the handle to the correct size. It produced a really snug fit and there is no sign of the sledge coming apart after hammering down some large poles in the garden.
