I Am a Big Sister (Caroline Jayne Church)

Bought for when I had my 2nd child and my little girl loved reading this together and referring to how she was helping really lovely

It was really well made&story was adorable, it was for my grandaughter to get her used to the arrival of her new sister x

This is a very simple book which poses talking points and questions about expecting a new sibling. I liked it because the genders of the children in it aren’t clear so you can adapt to suit your situation, and also the questions posed helped us prepare our daughter for the journey through pregnancy, preparing for a new arrival, and helped us structure conversations with her. Gave her the opportunity to think about it all and ask us a lot of questions.

Really cute book for a Big sister to have when a new baby of any sex arrives. Slightly American language eg : mommy not mummy but really doesn’t matter to the book at all.

My daughter likes it very much, I think she's finally understanding what's going on, she's 21 months. I was expecting to have a bit of prenatal pictures as well but apart from that the story is quite nice.

A lovely little book to introduce the idea of a new baby to our 2 year old. We read it to her before our 20 week scan and then took her with us to see baby. She then read it before bed most nights and knew what jobs she could help with when baby arrived. I'd done a fair bit if research because I wanted the perfect book and apart from the 'diapers' which I simply read to her as 'nappies' it was perfect!

This is my little cousin's favourite book. She's 2 and having a new baby brother in the house was worrying for her as she's the only child. This book is perfect for a big sister who is having a new little brother. She can relate to it so much amd insists she has it read to her on every Zoom call we have!

A great little book. We got this as a gift for our grand daughter when baby #2 came along, fabulous book can't rate it high enough ❤️❤️

Lectura fácil en inglés con rimas y vocabulario agradable. Para leerle a los peques o que lean cuando aprenden está muy bien. Al ser de hoja dura es fácil cambiar de una a otra. La historia es óptima para niños mayores con bebés en casa. Pero después de varios años sigue siendo útil incluso para los pequeños.

My daughter loved this book as she relates to what she does to help her newborn sister. We laughs a lot and she enjoy very much every single page of this book. It's definitely a nice ready for your daughter. They must have another one in case it is a son. ;)

The pictures are absolutely perfect for a two year old to understand. Definitely has been a daily favourite for reading. Would definitely recommend these books
