Tasty and lovely treacle-like consistency.
Superb honey. Dark and a great consistency. Best tasting honey I've ever experienced. Its not Manuka, but outside of New Zealand, this Bulgarian honey is as good as it gets in my humble opinion.

A serious rival to Sidr honey
The honey arrived within a few days of ordering, well packed however the lid was loose and some of the honey had leaked out, but the taste of this honey makes up for that minor gripe. On opening and sticking my nose near the jar it was assaulted by caramel undertones and a heavenly, yet subtle smell of a deep dark and rich honey, which has a hint of what I would call treakle. The consistency is also treacle like, velvety smooth and it kinda hangs about a bit and sticks to the spoon for a while rather than just dripping straight off. The taste is fairly unique and not overly sweet and also hangs about for a while on the tongue but in a good way. I've been a honey junkie for a few years now, after finding out I was type 2 diabetic. There are many medical benefits of using pure, raw, untreated honey from over 300 different types of honey from around the world and I have tried well over 60 different types and this honey is one of the best and is a serious contender to rival Sidr honey, which is the best I have tried and the most expensive. Everytime I take a hit of this amazing stuff it's hard not to think that it originated out of the arse end of an aphid, which doesn't put me off. As I said it's unique in many ways, a beautiful tasting honey and if this is as the seller claims, pure and not mixed with cheaper low grade honeys it's a bargain in my humble opinion and well worth the money. Mr honey man please don't put the price up, I will be buying again at this price.

A lovely, thick, tasty honey.
I bought this product as a honey lover who can’t find the flavour of honey which I like in the supermarkets. I like my honey thick, not too sweet, with a hint of treacle toffee. I find most supermarket honeys very running and too sweet. With the price of just under a tenner for 450g, it’s double what I would usually pay. The item came on the next day of ordering and was packed with the upmost care for transit. On opening the jar the first thing that I encountered was the amazing aroma of the honey, fantastic! This honey is also think. It didn’t run off my toast like the last jar of Mexican Yucatan honey which I bought from Waitrose! On first tasting, I got more than a hint of blackberries (this surprised me as I find talk like that pretentious but yep, it happened to me). Though this honey doesn’t have the ‘treacle toffee’ flavour that I was after, it’s a great tasting honey which I will enjoy each day and for that It’s worth the £10.

best oak honey ever
This is a superb honey. I bought it last year, when it wasn't organic certified yet and it impressed me. The organic jar that just arrived now has the same distinctive peat flavour. Yesterday I had to return another organic oak honey (from Spain) as it made me sick; it was also too sweet and with no woody taste at all, and weird colour. I am also still finishing a third brand of organic oak honey (from Bulgaria as well), which is ok, but quite tasteless, quite running and clear colour, as if mixed with chestnut honey. This honeydew instead is beyond comparison!!! I would say it's my favourite among the several ones I have been trying in the years. Hope farmers keep working this way in the future.

Tastes Devine
I'm not sure at this early stage if this type of honey is going to help with my inflamed esophagus, but the taste is fantastic, very addictive.
