These come in a large re-sealable plastic bag, as you can see in the picture. The candy I received was very fresh. The gummy bears were of assorted flavors and colors. They were covered by a thin layer of milk chocolate. The experience is that when you put one of these in your mouth, there is a brief flavor of chocolate that rapidly fades. The soft and chewy texture of the gummy bears is evident immediately, as the chocolate coating is very thin, and within a few seconds the fruit flavor of the gummy candy appears. After that, it's fairly similar to eating a regular gummy candy, although the chocolate flavor is still present in the background. How is this different from other similar candies? This is not dark chocolate, and the chocolate enrobement coating is not thick. The chocolate does not dominate this candy. If you enjoy eating gummy bears, and you wish you could have a thin coating of milk chocolate on your gummy bears, you'll enjoy these candies!

Because they’re TOO good!! I haven’t had these since I was a kid and I am too lazy to make them. I felt these were a bit pricy but after comparing to others, these were pretty much the standard per pound. I decided to go with this company based on the reviews and I am so happy I did. These are easily the best chocolate covered gummy bears I have ever had. And they’re pretty large too! The flavor of the bears is really good, the chocolate is light and creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. I definitely will be buying these again! Update: 04/13/2024 I got these again and they’re completely different! The bears are smaller, a different flavor and texture. The chocolate tastes gross. Lastly, the packaging is different. It’s as if this product is loose in an Amazon warehouse and scooped out, sealed there and labeled. Whereas before it was in a really nice company package that was resealable. I’m so disappointed.

They are quite tasty, but I wish I had more of a flavor variety. It seems like every 3 of 5 gummies are white (marshmallow flavored). The chocolate is good and overall they were good. Also a little melted upon opening.

They are delicious. I wish I could use SNAP benefits for purchase because I would buy them all the time. The size of the bag is also wonderful.

Chocolate covered gummi bears are one of my favorite snacks, and while they seem simple on the surface (and odd to some people who have no taste buds), there is actually quite a bit of difference from one brand to another when it comes to this sweet, chewy, chocolately, fruity snack. The first thing I noticed when I got my bag of chocolate covered gummi bears was that the milk chocolate covering them seemed to have a decent temper, but they lacked gloss, so I feared that one could not hold many while eating them without the chocolate beginning to melt against the skin. This is the case, unfortunately, but such is the price we pay for the existence of things like chocolate covered gummi bears. So if you're planning on eating a bunch of these in one go, you might want to put them in a cup or on a napkin or paper plate, unless you like licking melted chocolate off your fingers, in which case, you do you. The second thing I noticed was that a few of the bears had a bit of bloom to the chocolate, so they seemed like they might be a couple months old, but this didn't and doesn't really bother me, as bloom is a natural occurrence and chocolate is perfectly good for several years as long as it remains sealed. And this bag of gummi bears was not only sealed, but it was a true pain in my poor fingers to open, which I actually appreciated because it meant that there was no air or any other things that might harm my precious candy getting through the bag. After managing to get the bag open, I stuck my nose in it and took a big sniff. Immediately I noticed that the chocolate smelled quite good, with a note of creaminess to it that I attribute to the fact that it's milk chocolate. And speaking of the fact that they are milk chocolate, this is actually my chief complaint! While I enjoyed this candy, I would *vastly* prefer and enjoy a dark chocolate variety even more than I liked these ones. Just something for the chocolatier to think about, as it is quite difficult to find dark chocolate covered gummi bears! The gummi bears themselves are firm and resilient, and there seems to be a variety of colors and flavors, though many of them taste similar and there's no real burst of lime or cherry or lemon coming through with the chocolate. This might be due to the type of bear or however long all the bears were in the same bag might have caused them to infuse each other with their scents and flavors, thus causing a sort of muddled, mixed taste to the bears that just reads as 'fruit candy' rather than 'chocolate and xyz fruit'. All that said, this two pound bag was absolutely worth the price paid. I filled a candy jar with bears and just munched on them over the next few weeks whenever I had a hankering. While they could benefit from a dark chocolate option and a stronger flavor to the individual bears inside of the chocolate, this candy is a pretty good option if you like chocolate covered gummi snacks just for the value of price to gummi bears received alone.
