when i switched over to using a lead holder pencil this has been a life saver because it is much more cheaper than other products and because i mainly do sketches rather than detailed drawings this is a must have for me.

These leads were ordered along with a Koh-I-Noor clutch pencil which turned out to be great value for money. I was not expecting the leads to be anything other than adequate as they were so inexpensive, but as they were destined to go in my everyday sketching kit that goes everywhere with me thought I would give them a try. (I don't carry top range materials about with me as I often lose or damage stuff, so I go for adequate but cheap enough not to break my heart over when it rolls down a drain or gets sat on. I keep the really good stuff in the studio.) These leads were fine, worked well in the pencil, ,drew smoothly without shattering and erased cleanly and easily. However they are far harder than anybody else's 2B grade. They are about as soft as a Steadtler B or a Pentel HB so don't expect to shade heavily or make very dark marks with them. This said, they are perfect for my purposes of under drawing, doodling and note taking and were well packaged in a sturdy plastic case. At about the cost of one premium pencil for a box of 12 leads I think they are very good value and were better quality than I expected. I am going to give them five stars as they are what I needed.

Wasn’t expecting these to be any great shakes, but to be honest, I was surprised. Good quality and much cheaper than the staedtler leads. I have a staedtler clutch pencil and they fit just fine. The only caveat is they are slightly harder than I was expecting. I would advise buying a 2b if you wanted a b, for example.I use them for sketching and practice out and about and save the fancier/pricier branded ones for work. I would recommend these; especially as a cheaper alternative.

Happy with this product only slight downside, I also purchased the mechanical pencil to accompany the leads and i have found the lead that came supplied with the pencil slips nice and easy through the shaft without any help, however when i tried these leads they are just sightly larger but enough to stop the lead sliding, having to pull manually. The pencil is the same make as leads just to clear up. Other than that would use seller again and purchase same leads again . This is the only reason i have given 4 stars
