Vitrex 10 2120 Soft Grip Tile File

Very good file, used it a lot on ceramic tiles while doing the bathroom. Quite a coarse file so removes material quickly. An absolute necessity for me.

Excellent for filing ceramic tiles. With careful 'angle of attack' a straight edge can be obtained. Concentrating effort in one place this file easily removed ceramic to form a required shape. One side is flat and the other has a curve. Tile dust collected on the tile surface I found was easily removed with a brush. I found it easier to clean than a diamond type file as particles are finer and catch on the surface material more readily. The only downside is that it's possible to break away particles of tile causing a non smooth edge but a gentler action can remedy this coarse edging.

Used this for a DIY job in the utility room, worked well to tidy up the edges on cut tiles. Was cheaper than purchasing elsewhere, so was a no brainer. Stayed in good condition after the job across a box of 40 tiles, and will do a few more jobs with it, so reasonably durable.

It seems okay, it has managed to shaved down 1cm thick ceramic tiles.. The only bad thing is that, it easily loses the shard on the filer, so it's definitely better for you to file your tiles over a bin/bag for safety and to keep the shards off the floor (otherwise when you sweep up, you might cut yourself or damage your flooring)

Didn't use this for ages but the got in a mess with a curved tile and this saved the day.

Used to file down littel lumps left after cutting with a straight cutter. Worked well for that.

Utilisée pour du carreau céramique de 9mm d'épaisseur. Permet de finir des découpes et de mettre à la dimension certaines parties des carreaux. Je la recommande.
