is it any good for dogs with cracked dry ears

I would say yes as it really is good, I've used it on my rottie's tail that somehow got dry & cracked & was causing discomfort after 3 days a massive improvement. I've even used it on our Harris Hawk's leg when we found that the breeder had but his bell on to tight around his leg & it had started to swell & break through his skin, Leucillin healed his leg brilliantly. Is this product suitable for dogs with mites?

Diatomacous Earth would work on mites as it dehydrates them until they die, works on fleas as well, but you must always buy the powder (human grade) and never allow the dust to be too invasive on eyes and nose. I apply it outside in the fresh air, so the dust disperses. Rub it onto the skin under the fur. It will make your puppy look a bit pale and dusty for a day, careful of dusty sofas lol, but wears off after a couple of days :) A little goes a LONG way so don't be too overkeen with it. I suggest you ask your Vet or tell them what you are going to do, before doing it. My Vet approves but not all Vets do
