This product is made very well and sturdy and actually shave your back correctly

It is hard to get the angle right so that all blades are working. I thought the pivot point in the middle would allow for angle adjustment but it’s just folding shut. Tried it once and few it out.

Works great. Easy to reach your lower back.

The only time my bf's body/arm has ever been in this "position" is when he's scratching his back with one of those long backscratcher pole-thingys.And when you're scratching your back, its usually done haphazardly, i.e. imprecise (& sometimes aggressive) up & down motions.So, his knee-jerk reaction when he tried this for the first time was completely erratic.But the carpet he's got going on back there is considerable in pile & square footage 😂. He can't just do a few random, uneven passes of this thing & expect to get it all.Plus standing with your back to the mirror & looking over your shoulder to see if you missed any spots & then trying to hit those specific areas is like trying to write with your non-dominant hand, it ain't easy.The unit itself is made well & comfortable to hold. I think we used Gillette blades &they were easy to put on but Chuckles over here kept knocking one off on the end.I appreciate that it folds in half for storage.I'm hoping he gets the hang of it bc I'd like to be rid of my Rug-Doctor duties sooner than later. On a "fun-scale" from 1 to 10, shaving my bf's back comes in at a -8 (thats a NEGATIVE 8).Though, I suppose that doesn't matter at this point where I'm concerned....the damage is already done because there are some things you just can't "un-see".😉😆😁

I wanted to like this shaver. I have a little hair on my back and like to shave it when I swim or go shirtless. Normally, my wife does it. I was hoping that I could get this and do it myself. I have seen positive reviews from other similar devices. After receiving the shaver I quickly realized that it didn't include the expensive blades. Seeing the listing for recommended blades, I ended up ordering the Schick Hydro blades from Amazon as these were cheaper than the Gillete options. unfortunately, the Schick blades are completely different in the way that they connect so I had to return them. It doesn't appear that they are compatible even though they are listed as such. After some search in my drawer, I was able to find 3 blades I had in the past that were compatible. After many attempts, I found the device to be bulky and awkward. It was difficult to adequately shave anything. I will try to see if additional attempts are more successful, but I am not really sure how much use I will get from this.

I was wondering how effective this was going to be, or if I was just waiting my time haha. But WOW, this is like a Sasquatch killer! I swear I have a rug for a back that drives me crazy! This razor extension obliterated my back hair. Please know...you do have to sacrifice 3 razors, BUT it is well worth it!! Here is what I found...1. It takes some getting use to when using it. You'll do quite a bit of experimenting with it at first trying to get the best strike with the razors. But once you "feel" it, it's game on! Just be sure to have something over the shower drain to catch all the hair.2. It is very effective! Now granted...it didn't get EVERYTHING on my back. But considering when I first used this, I looked like a silverback gorilla with my shirt off...I'd say it did a fantastic job!! There are a few recommendations I have for better effectiveness I'll list below. But overall, I was very impressed!3. The middle razor often gets high-centered in some tight areas. Yes...unfortunately, it struggles in some areas of the back. There were some spots that were very curved or tight that only the middle razor would get. This would cause the middle razor to high-center lifting the two side razors off the back. But with a few design modifications, I'm hoping this won't be an issue in the future.4. Keep in mind, that the razors DON'T rotate or conform to body geometry as they do on the standard Manufactures handle that they were designed for. BUT they still do an awesome job!!5. Quality? The handle feels like it is made from very strong polymer plastic (feels like it was 3d printed?). Very robust and well made. Almost over engineered. The handle fits in your hand nice, and it folds up very compact for storage afterwards.I would consider using a back luffa to lather up your back before use for the best results and to prevent razor cuts or burns (Also helps clear out loose hair). I would also recommend using good quality razors with the lube strip.I would also recommend that the designers of this back razor take a look at the middle razor arm and see if there is a way to make the middle arm (or all three razor arms...) flex to conform to body geometry better. So that you have all three razors in contact with the skin at all times during use, and avoid any of the 3 razors becoming high-centered. Maybe a hinge design with a metal spring plate to keep tension on the small razor arms? I know this would add cost, but I believe the results would be unparalleled, making this back razor even better, more effective and easy to use.Overall, this back razor is fantastic!! I would highly recommend it to anyone like me who might have been mistaken for sasquatch with his shirt off! It's a hairy Sasquatch killer! Look out big foot!!!

The spring loaded blade angle holder don't work and get jammed constantly so blades flop around instead following the skin. The handle arc also needs to be adjustable like the OLD EasYshaver back shaver was.If the blade holders worked, the arc was adjustable and each blade was mounted on a spring loaded arm this product would be worth 3 times the asking price..

I was skeptical that this thing was going to work… I was afraid it was going to be awkward to use, but all the razor mounts are positioned perfectly to make full contact. Love how it folds up for easy storage; and super sturdy. Recommended.
