Party-Perfect Bites: Delicious recipes for canapés, finger food and party snacks

A fantastic book. Milli Taylor manages to pack in a staggering number of recipes and ideas from a really wide variety of cuisines. In the foreword she states that her aim with this book is to shake things up and encourage readers to make more adventurous party food - I am sold! Looking forward to trying spiced coconut lamb skewers and spinach, fennel & cumin ricotta cakes in particular. The photography by Helen Cathcart is stunning - flicking through the book is an absolute pleasure and it would be just as at home sitting on your coffee table as it would on the shelf with your other recipe books. Helpfully, Milli includes some menu planners with combinations of finger food for different occasions throughout all seasons. The 'Festive winter drinks party' selection will be going down a storm in the run up to Christmas! I am delighted with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this book to anyone.

One of the most delightful cook books I own. Full of simply delicious recipes. I love a theme so dividing the canapes and small bites into all areas of the globe was so exciting to me. The styling of the book is gorgeous, from the linen, boards, cutlery and crockery used. I know that this is a book I will use again and again. Milli Taylor also has an Instagram and Web page full of great recipes and tutorials.

Great all rounder if you are looking inspiration. The book is split into sections including: - Dips & Dippers - Indian - Asian - The Americas And there is a good number of recipes for each section. The photography is beautiful and all of the canapés will definitely impress your guests. However, the recipes are easy to follow and none look overly challenging. The format great if you are looking to work within a particular theme for a party as well. Perfect if you do a lot of entertaining or a gift for the foodie in your life.

Bought this for my wife as she loves cooking and we had a recipe from it at a friends house. The recipes are great and have had some outstanding canapes and meals from it so far. Good pictures and clear recipes. Be warned though, the recipes are not designed for making on a budget with often half a teaspoon of this and that making for an expensive dish. Delicious results though so would thoroughly recommend!

I followed Millis Instagram account for a while and after having seen some of her live cooking sessions, I straight away wanted to find the book. You can see that she wants to show you all the details and share the results, giving useful tips which are invaluable when trying new recipes. The book is exactly the same and the two best things, in my opinion, are how she tells you what can be prepared in advance and how she suggests at the back well-paired menus taking into consideration the amount of work and serving. well worth it

Some original ideas and good addition to my collection of canape recipes.

This is a very attractive and well designed book with lots of interesting and delicious recipes, good clear instructions, advice on quantities - for numbers of guests as well as recipes - and sources of ingredients. I'd recommend it highly - and its on my list of Christmas presents to give to others.

What a fantastic book! Full of easy to follow recipes with ingredients that you will find in any kitchen cupboard. I have tried a few recipes already, sometimes making them bigger for family meals or doubling the amount to freeze for later. This year for Christmas my family will be cooking with Milli! Well done!!
