Works really well, highly recommended.
I was wary of buying any grease gun as they all seem to have mixed reviews! This one works really well - easy to load, without mess, and as for getting it on and off grease nipples - as another reviewer says, push the hose so it is out of line with the nipple and it pulls off - but it is so easy, I can hardly describe it as a "technique". Seems to develop good pressure - grease appearing all around the joints. Highly recommended.

and I'm very happy with it
My first grease gun, and I'm very happy with it. I bulk filled it, then had some trouble priming it, but once I used the air bleed, it started working perfectly, and has done so since. Have only used it about half a dozen times, and it will get infrequent use, but it seems to be of good quality to me, so I expect it to remain in good order.

Excellent grease gun
This is an excellent grease gun, easy to use and giving good feed pressure to the grease. It attaches well and seals to the grease nipples, but it can be very difficult to remove! I struggled till I followed the advice in 'OP's' review on Amazon. This made removal much simpler (though still a little tricky). I also had to take a Stanley knife to the grease cartridge to get it to insert into the gun!

Great gun, easy to remove from nipple when you know how!
This is a great grease gun. I've not used one for many years but this does indeed do the trick. My tip for removing this from a grease nipple is:- You don't need to use force, there's a "knack". When connected to the nipple pull the pipe over as far as it will go in any direction - again, you don't need to use force, just pull the pipe over until it won't go any further without force. As if you're trying to "snap off" the pipe from the nipple i guess. It won't snap off of course, but this motion makes the end of the pipe, where it's connected to the nipple, deflect as much as possible. Maintaining this "pull", turn the pipe a full 180 degrees, as if you're drawing a big "o" in the air. You will find that as the end of the pipe rotates on the nipple a "disconnection point" is reached and hey presto off it pops. It will only do this if you are maintaining that deflection on the end of the pipe, as this stops you from accidentally disconnecting the unit while you're pumping grease in there. I spent ages trying to wrench the end of the pipe off the nipple with a pair of pliers and was lucky i didn't break anything. One of those situations where you know you're doing something wrong but can't figure out how to get the damn thing off. I actually discovered how to get it off by chance but you really DO NOT need to use force to get this off. If you're forcing the unit off you're doing it wrong. Hope this helps.

Superb compact gun
Got one of these to use around the farm instead of having to lug around my drum type grease guns. Ignore the bad reviews this is fantastic. Very easy to bulk fill with no air pockets (use your common sense or look on youtube for directions) Well made and grippy unit that doesnt leak at all thanks to the quality hose and nipple. Best of all it the terrific pumping pressure it generates, easily unblocks old hard grease with 2 strokes max. I'm going to order 2 more for different greases

Great Grease gun
Bought this for general purpose around workshop. Was not sure about buying looking at other peoples reviews but there seemed to be a lot more positive than negative so bought one. Have no complaints at all. Found out it's very easy to detach from nipple if you lean over and turn like other review states, no force needed. Also found it very easy to load grease cartridge and use with no air problems. Great product for price. Would recommend.

Three Stars
Works ok, but very fiddly to install cartridge and get cap back on with the internal spring
