A great fake CCTV camera that looks just like the real thing. DELIVERY & PACKAGING - this item was delivered very promptly in just over 24 hours, it came in a small cardboard box made from recyclable materials. PRODUCT MATERIALS - the fake camera is made from a hard plastic that is very durable and looks just like the real thing. INSTALLATION & USE - the only installation required for this item is to unscrew the battery case and insert 2 x AAA batteries, then drill 3 holes to where you plan on installing it. The item comes with the screws and plugs for installation. When the batteries are inserted the camera has an intermittent red LED that flashes making the camera look like it is recording. I have had this item for over a year now and have only changed the batteries once and it is still working perfectly. PRICE - a very cheap alternative to paying for real CCTV to use as a deterrent. I had a few issues with kids banging the doors and running off, as soon as the camera was installed it never happened again. Very happy with this purchase.

Yes; agree all previous enthusiastic comments. It does look authentic. What I particularly like about this item is the 'electric' cord which other dummy CCTV cameras (such as those offered by B&Q) do not offer. And which I have 'wired in' to an old junction box placed alongside the camera for more credibility. We do have some genuine CCTV cameras so this item is simply a back-up to an area which is not actually covered by them. Not really fussed about the red blinking light not being a long life item but, although the camera is sited beneath the roof overhang, I shall probably take another reviewer's tip about weather protecting the battery cover, Excellent value for money.

This was exactly what was needed to keep our mad neighbour from damaging the walls of the stairwell (what we refer to as a "close" in Scotland) as she's a paranoid loon who seems to think there are surveillance wires behind the plaster or some such nonsense. It looks real, the battery runs for months (use Duracell for better longevity) and the cable detail looks pretty realistic. Easy to install, simple to replace batteries. Best six quid I've spent in a long time!

Looks real no trouble installing battery's just put them in before you put camera up simple! Works well no need to fumble about on top of ladders with the small battery screw put batts in first lol

This looks real enough to me but I don't really know anything about security cams. The faux connector wire and red light make it more believable. SADLY I had to return it as I don't live in a massive warehouse or similar - the camera is HUGE, way too big to put next to my door of my little house, in that scenario the cam doesn't look real because it's so big, but that's MY FAULT for not checking the size properly. If you need a big cam, get this. If you live in a little house in a little close, nooooo

Very realistic and simple to fit. Looks like the real thing and acts as an extra visual deterrent. There is some debate as to whether real CCTV have a red light. Personally I like the light, but if you don’t then don’t fit the batteries. It may not stand up to detailed scrutiny but if you are a potential burglar are you going to stare at a camera for 5 mins just to check if it’s real or not?

Burglars take note: I bought this for a friend ;) True story. I originally bought this for my own use, but my neighbour's shed was the target of an attempted robbery, so I let them have the camera and we fitted it that evening. I then ordered a duplicate camera for my own use, only to find out that my neighbour had told one of our other neighbours (the one with the biggest mouth) that the camera wasn't real, so I cancelled the second order and replaced it with a £200+ CCTV system! A really well constructed chassis, very convincing, Let down a little by the fiddly hood (which slides off to give access to the battery cover). The LED is very bright and draws the eye in the dark, making you well aware of it. Fit (2 x) decent AA batteries to save yourself accessing it any more than you need to. The cable is a well thought out extra. I was concerned about the generic look of this device to begin with, but most ne'er do wells won't be all that keen at staring at the camera for too long. For less than £6.00, this is a no brainer. The product image shown is a true representation of the product you'll receive. Well worth fitting if you need a cheap and effective deterrent, (just don't tell your neighbours!)

Easy to install, remembering to put batteries in first. Looks authentic with flashing red light Thieves would think twice if they saw this. Good deterrent as they cannot be sure it is not working

Certo, sono molto economici, ma le due telecamere sono estremamente plasticose e si nota subito che sono finte, sopratutto per il braccio fatto davvero molto male.

Producto fiel a su descripción. Cámara de vigilancia bastante bien simulada de plástico con buenos acabados. Recomiendo su compra por este precio.
