Great book for everyday practice . Could give little explanations es per how and why , but amazing otherwise.

Good book 10 minute tasks just right for 9 year old

Whilst I am on keen on the gimmicky idea of a timer (not to mention Carol Vorderman's connection!), the book is well conceived and clear. I bought this for my Year 5 child who was struggling intensely with fractions. It starts well with the basics and continues into more difficult topics and concepts. As a rule, there is a progression as you move through as well as reinforcement of earlier chapters. However, at times, there appears to be the odd leap. Nonetheless, this is bright cheerful book, which does its best to engage the child on what can be considered a very dry topic. Unlike some of its counterparts, it has a solid cover and a higher quality feel. It also provides plenty of pages of practice.

These series of books are of really high quality. If you are looking for something to help additional schooling to bolster learning on something which is becoming tricky for your child then these take the time to explain the issues and work in good straight froward steps meaning furstration free learning. They are also really useful if you are looking for home schooling support. This fractions one has really helped my 7 year become confident with numbers and explains it so easily.

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it and said it had really helped her.

This is good if you want to give your child practice with fractions but there are no learning pages or explanations so not good if you need help teaching

The books arrived a few days late, but they were in very good condition. You can buy with confidence!
