I like the product because it is easy to use and store.

Most effective when used directly in the nest, doesn't effect grass etc...

Complete waste of money. Followed the instructions to the letter and the ants basically threw a party on my lawn afterwards. No reduction, no effect — just slightly soggy soil and more ants. Ended up pouring boiling water down the nests, which actually worked. Save your cash and stick the kettle on

This seems to be an effective ant killer. We often get plagued by the little blighters in the summer. I've used sprays and powders before to reasonable effect. This one does the job equally as well. Apart from anything else, one advantage of this one is that the powder is a grey/green colour so when you put it ant nests in lawns it blends in with the grass unlike some of the white powder versions which look unsightly.

Did the job

Every year I have an infestation of ants in my drive and patio. It does not last long and is usually suppressed with some store bought ant powder, but I was interested to try this to see whether it worked better.You actually receive a very large bottle, but it is only about half full of powder – so is not quite as impressive as it first appears. The top of the bottle opens on both sides, so you can shake the powder out through a large opening or through holes (a little like a larger version of a dried herb bottle).One of the difficulties of reviewing this is that it suggests you need to ensure the ants nest is broken open before treatment on lawns. I have not the slightest idea where the nest actually is and – considering I get ants at the front and back of the house – it could be anywhere. Still, I scattered this where the ants were and it did seem to deter them. Had I found the nest, it might have eradicated them, but, as it is, I have no doubt they will all appear next year.Overall, this works as well as other ant powders I have used. The bottle seems a little large for the amount of powder included, but it was easy to use and seemed effective.

A great treatment - I had a large ants nest under my lawn with many entry holes....although the product says it is best to break open the nest (this was not possible) I just poured it into the entry holes and around....after 3 treatments 3 days apart all of the ants have gone!!very easy to use!
