Tiny - but good
When you get this item it's in a box, and the pieces are arranged around it to show parts. At first I assumed that as it stood, they were all of the bits it broke down into. OH NO, it breaks right down, small pieces sub-divide and can be taken apart to look at individual body parts and organs. The pieces are nicely coloured and sort of fit together into larger chunks that eventually fit into the body. I will be honest - I have NEVER been able to get all the bits correctly back into the body. It might just be me (probably is) but, the stomach just won't shove in there!!!!! However, as a 'roving tutor' it's SO handy to carry round. I have it in a very small ziplock bag now that goes round with me. The kids love to tear it all apart and try to put it back together. It's good for talking about different organs and their jobs too, students are always amazed when you tell them just how long the small intestine REALLY is! I love this for its convenience in my job.

Disappointed
Disappointed how small all the parts were to make it educational and support learning. For the price I paid, I feel the product should have been much better. Ease of assembly not very good, not only due to the tiny size of some parts but also some didn't fit properly.

Tiny but fun
To echo the other reviewers, I did buy this after reading the reviews, and yes it's small - it's tiny, which can lead to frustration so as long as you are aware of that then it is a good toy. I'd really love to buy a much larger scale one but just can't seem to find one anywhere so this is a good solution. It does completely break apart which is great so you really can build it up from scratch and everyone has had a go putting it together, and we all learnt a thing or two in the process. I would recommend it but, again as mentioned - tiny!

Human torso model
This was a present for my grandson who showed an interest in human anatomy and was also interested in model making. The item is very nicely packaged, but the pictures and adverts are somewhat misleading in terms of indicating the size of the finished model. From the pictures and description I had mistakenly conceived the model to be bigger than it was. In actual fact, the model itself, when complete, stands at just 12cm in height! Consequently, the individual body parts are relatively small and difficult to manipulate into place. However, my grandsom, who is 9 years old, had no difficulty completing the model, there was no glueing or painting involved and the finished product makes a very handsome, if rather small, museum addition to his collection of other models and artifacts. Having said all this, the model itself is very nicely finished and, given its size, remarkably accurate in detail and colour. All the parts can easily be dis-assembled and put together fairly easily. Good value for money, but probably suitable for children of at least eight or nine years of age and above.

Good model
Bought for our 4 year old who is fascinated by the human body. It's a really good little model. Yes it's small so consequently the parts are too but it's easy to identify which part is which and fit it all together. It comes with a basic but useful little booklet too.

We love this!
Purchased for my 4 year old for Christmas as she was interested in the human body. She is now 6 and still plays with this. It is very good and a great teaching aid. Note it is small so you should bare that in mind when purchasing.

Not a good quality
My son loves this gift so much and it’s exactly what he wants but it’s not a good quality at all. It’s too expensive to the quality we have received. I’m so sad now after 10 hours one piece nail is broken.

After reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this. As a nursing student I learn better visually and wanted something I could see and touch without spending a fortune. The model is small but still helpful. The pieces are a hard rubber not plastic so I find them more durable than I thought they would be. The instructions are extremely simple and the assembly is easy. I had no trouble putting it together. I have read people have had problems with pieces breaking or not fitting right and I honestly don't understand why. Everything stays together well once fully assembled. All in all I find it a wonderful learning tool and worth the $16 for anyone interested in anatomy, nursing, physiology, etc... Pros: Portable- Small enough to fit in your bag and take to classes or to sit on your shelf for display. Mostly Accurate- With it being so small it is hard to get it textbook accurate but if you already know basic anatomy it isn't too big of a deal. Fun- Nice to put together and take a part for skills assessments. Cons: Assembly Guide- The Guide should include more about the asophagus and skin. Model as a whole- It would be better if the model had some more in depth work, such as muscle tissue in the legs or arms that are detachable.

Il busto è molto piccolo, come da descrizione. I pezzi sono comunque rifiniti benissimo nonostante le dimensioni. E' più che altro simbolico ovviamente, ma consigliatissimo. E' molto carino, ripeterei l'acquisto!
