Xbox One Controller Torx Screwdriver Tool Set Opening Kit - T10 T8 Star Tamper Proof for Xbox One 360 Wireless Game Controllers and PS3

Absolutley perfect little kit for anyone looking to take apart and give cleaning their xbox controllers ago. All you need is this kit and a good youtube video made by some eastern european bloke.

I bought these to very occasionally remove the dome on some home security cameras and live and a drawer for the rest of the time. They're small but do the job required perfectly. I'd imagine if you needed to use these daily you'd want something far, far more robust but for once-in-a-blue moon use, they're perfect.

Needed to remove and replace the headphone jack which had the 3.5mm pin snapped inside it. Had to buy a new one as, even with it out the controller (it’s not soldered in, it’s just wedged between pcb’s) there is no way to get the snapped pin out. With regards this set, only the T8 was used from it, you need a T6 to remove the PCB’s. The T10 has no place being in a set for XBox One controllers! This goes for One/S/Elite. I had a set of precision screwdrivers which had T6 and T8, but the T8 wasn’t a tamper proof one (like this one, with a hole in the end of it). That’s what’s needed for the controller. The T6 used from my own set was a normal (no hole in the end - I don’t think you get these tbh). Anyway, 4 stars as the T8 worked perfectly to remove the screws needed. YouTube shows you where the screws are, but just so you know, there is one hidden behind the sticker inside the battery compartment, so opening your controller will void any warranty you might have had.

amazing and cheap piece of kit, easy to use and pairs perfectly with a part bought off of the internet. For example many of my controllers have had broken bumpers and i’ve always gone and bought a new controller. But all you have to do is buy a bumper replacement and place it in the controller once you have opened it up, such an easy cost effective method and it feels like you have a new controller. If you re looking to buy a part like a bumper, it only costs £4 and fits perfect. I bought mine off of Fast-PC, and it is so much better than buying a controller for £50-55

I bought these to make up an order and I expected them to be bigger for the price, but they are ok quality and will come in handy, but they have been made very cheaply and the price is too high in my opinion.
