Impressed with the quality and ease of use with this product I read reviews before purchase so I was concerned about the weight, but actually found it ok. Used once so far and did the job very well. Would have been better if had come with a case for the blades.

Very sharp & they do the job

First impressions of these is that I don't fully understand how these can possibly cost £12.50. Take the 40% or so Amazon take to stock, ship and profit from the item and it leaves about 7 quid for S+J... And they actually feel like high quality shears. Time will tell if these hold up to the task. But consider me extremely impressed at the moment.

For the money from a reputable brand these are excellent. They look well made on opening the box and I can’t wait to use them. They are also not too heavy.

Spear and Jackson quality, robust and well-made, Sharp and cuts well - but not tried hedges, think they would be fine They are heavy-, designed for edge cutting and long handles makes them heavy. As a woman I found them tiring to use and tended pause between 3-5 cuts. I chose because I want them quickly- arrived on chosen day. Taking into account heaviness a good buy.. Suggest you wipe with an oiled cloth regularly - mine, left out overnight , has rust marks. surprisingly, and left especially if you are not going to use them for a while in the shed, they would soon become too difficult to open,

Cet outil est bien pensé, de prime abord il est robuste, les lames sont belles et aiguisées. Après une saison d'usage, elles tiennent un peu moins le coup et malgré un affûtage, on sent que la qualité et un peu en deça des marques. Cela dit, le rapport qualité pris est intéressant et si vous avez des petits travaux d'entretien de haie, il est parfait ! Si c'est pour vous attaquer à un gros chantier d'élagage, préférez une grande marque

Easy to use and very good for even removing strain. The settings are also very convenient and the scaler will only vibrate if it touches the teeth. Highly recommend.

The shears want to randomly seize when cutting general foliage. The blades have been cleaned, maintained and this hasn’t stopped this from occurring. There’s a green plastic cover that conceals the fixing/hardware that holds the blades together and this isn’t allowing accessibility to adjust the tension on the blades effectively and I don’t want to break this in case the merchant refuses to accept them back and refuses my request to return them for a refund.
