Q: I've connected the unit to a white led strip x 6 leds @ 3.2v each. The leds flash on and off. Why is this?

You have the wrong wattage driver. I had the same problem. It is too high I think

Q: 600ma 3-7v. What is the maximum length of cable i can have between the driver and led?

These come with a plug that determines the length you can cut this off if it not a match and wire to existed led

Q: Is this suitable to replace in a light fitting requiring a secondary of 300ma (constant current), 40-62 vdc (72v max), pmax of 18.6w?

It is a 300ma constant current driver so should be correct. My experience of Chanzon drivers is that they are good and reliable.
