Great kits and fun to do, never enough glue though.

My son loves it. I love it. We work together as it's real fun. Need some precision and planning but looks stunning. Glue sticks within seconds and in 24 hours it's hard as rock. Could do with some better instructions but it's still quite intuitive.

This is my 2nd Domus Kit. In my kit, the instructions are in Spanish so do be aware of that. There are a few pictures to help guide you though. The kit has everything you need, although you'll need more glue and some extra bits if you want to personalise the model. Some advice, the cardboard structure is much thinner than in my first kit which I bought several years ago. In hind sight, I would have strengthen the walls and rooves with an extra layer of card. Also, the base is made from MDF rather than the plywood base I had with my first kit. I cut out the black windows and used match sticks to make wooden window frames and added match sticks to the cardboard door. I also made some extra bits using polymer clay and bought some extra bits to personalise it. I also added some battery operated lights. In all, it's a lovely kit which is fun to make and they're rather addictive and YES, I'd purchase more kits. One last thing though, I don't think it's suitable for an 8 year old. 14+ years.......YES. An 8 year old..... No!

Dies ist das zweite Häuschen dieser Firma, das ich zusammengesetzt habe. Die Anleitung ist wieder recht sparsam, sie besteht aus wenigen recht kleinen und nicht sonderlich scharfen Bildern. Aber die wesentlichen Informationen sind zu erkennen. Zuerst schneidet man Hausteile aus dünner Pappe aus und kelbt diese zu einem Papphäuschen auf den Holzuntergrund. Da die Teile mit Buchstaben gekennzeichnet sind, ist sehr gut ersichtlich was wohin kommt und in welcher Reihenfolge gearbeitet wird. Die Ziegel, die man auf das Unterkonstrukt aus Pappe klebt, sind sehr reichlich , der Klebstoff dagegen recht sparsam zugemessen. Deshalb sollte man extra Bastelkleber oder Holzleim da haben. Was mich an diesen Modellen begeistert, ist, wie einfach man sie abwandeln kann. Die ursprünglich schwarzen "Fensterscheiben" kann man ausschneiden und mittels Kunststofffolie und Stoffresten in echter aussehende Fenster verwandeln. Dadurch kann mit einer innen befestigten, kleinen LED Lichterkette das Ganze beleuchtet werden. Bei diesem Modell lässt dich die Batteriebox auf der Rückseite der Gebäudes unter dem erhöht verlaufenden Rasen verstecken. Die Anleitung schlägt vor, das Außengelände nach eigenen Vorstellungen zu gestalten. Und das macht bei einem so hübschen Häuschen deutlich Spaß! Super empfehlenswert für alle Miniaturisten, die nicht immer nur das Innere von Puppenhäusern gestalten wollen. Einziges Manko: Leider hat die Firma keine weiteren Modelle, die mir persönlich richtig gut gefallen. Aber vielleicht kommen ja noch welche auf den Markt. Für Anfänger gibt es auch einfache Modelle, mit weniger Ecken, Kanten und Höhenunterschieden.

È la prima che costruisco. Risultato soddisfacente. Ci sono mattoncini in più oltre a quelli necessari. Io ho messo anche dei lampioncini ai fianchi che di sera la rendono più realistica. Le finestre non permettono di vederne l'interno, e se fosse stata progettata la presenza di una lucina interna sarebbe stato il massimo. Direi però che il risultato finale è molto molto carino.
