This is an excellent bulb that exudes quality
This is an excellent bulb that exudes quality. I love the natural light akin to incandescent light bulbs. the dimming is quiet, smooth and constant, everything you could want in a bulb. this sits outside my house and is on dimmed permanently outside my house during dark hours and with full light on as you approach. We installed it mid-September 2016 and it is still working ok as new. Will update if it fails prematurely.

Perfect. I've tried multiple E27 LEDs to find the right one. This one dims to a really low, yellowish light (important as I've a total of 6 on my living room ceiling) to create a relaxed vibe, whilst being bright when fully lit. All at a very good price. If it lasts as it's supposed to I''ll be extremely happy.

Warmglow dimming is great, but would love a higher CRI
I've just refit our whole house with LEDs, new dimmers, and new light fittings.I mainly used thesee warmglow bulbs for 3 reasons1) The colour at full brightness is just perfect: 2700k just like old incandescent bulbs2) The bulb itself is beautiful. Perfect for glass light fittings or shades without diffusers3) The Warm Glow gimmick is cool. It means the clue goes really warm when you dim it. This is designed to perfectly mimick a halogen getting dimmed. Philips actually use a second, orange LED to achieve this result. HI we've it is a gimmick because the CRI is pretty poor when dimmed, and you'll need a special LED dimmer and just the right amount of load on it to get the effect. What us CRI? "Colour Rendering Index" Glad you asked. It's the reason these lights only get 4*. These lights have a CRI of 80, which means they represent colours 80% as well as an incandesent bulb. That's only OK. The best in class LEDs go above 95%. It's a shame I only doubt out about this AFTER ordering a 20 warm glow bumbs across a few fittings.

Great
I paired it with an "Arendo - plug-in Dimmer with Control Dial" for testing. Max consumption for the dimmer and bulb combined is 6.4W, as measured by a "Brennenstuhl BN-PM231" power meter. This bulb can be dimmed down to about 1.1W, which is about 17% of full power. It can also dim down to about 0.5W before shutting down completely, but there is obvious flickering below 1.1W. There is also a slight flicker between 1.1W and about 1.5W, but it is very bearable, not noticeable. Overall, I am very satisfied with how dim it can get without flickering. Exceptional dimming ability for an LED bulb. EDIT: After leaving it on for a few hours, it now dims only down to 1.5W. It now turns off completely when dimmed below that level. However, it never flickers. 1.5W is still good nevertheless. When the dimmer is set to less than ~90% power, the bulb makes a slight buzzing noise. The intensity of the buzz does not vary according to the dimming level - it is as loud at minimum power as it is at 90% power. The buzz can be heard at up to 1.5 meters away if there is no obstacle in between and if the room is completely silent. With an obstacle in between, such as a lamp shade, you have to be very close (like less than 50 centimeters away) to hear anything. If the room is not completely silent, you have to be also very close to hear the buzz. The color temperature is warm, very similar to incandescent bulbs, which is uncommon for LED bulbs.I wish that the buzz was completely unnoticeable even in silent environments. But I still rate it 5 stars as this is also one of the cheapest dimmable LED bulbs you can get.I will test again with other dimmers when I get a chance.

Nice light!
I bought 2 for my new 'industrial' style wall lights, one set as an uplighter over the telly, one pointng down for my reading corner. I knew in advance these were going to be dimmer than my previous led lights, but found them perfect in use. They dim very well to give a golden hue, with none of the noise emission that others have complained about. Well satisfied.

Nice but not perfect
Beautiful design but flicker every now and again when used with dimmer. Adjusting dimmer sometimes helps.

Not suitable for a dimmer
Bought these ones at a premium because they are supposed to be dimmable but they flicker so I wouldn't recommend them.
