So far, so good... it helped us control water temperature in bath/shower. Our boiler is old and kept changing water temperature every time we closed the tap to soap. With this new tap the temperature stays exactly as you had it before closing the water. Not need to wait either.... although not sure the water pressure is as high as before but my partner didn't notice the difference. First thing you'll notice when you open the box is how heavy it is... but I think that to me speaks for the good quality. Feels nice and smooth to control. I was concerned the handles were going to be hard to rotate as I have used similar controls that felt hard to move, making it difficult to adjust the temperature. Not the case here, they're really smooth action and have a nice click safety mechanism. This is a German product designed to be installed in the wall, however we managed to install it using the old legs from previous tap so we didn't need to fit in the wall.

Good quality tap. Only downsides are that it doesn't always automatically switch back to tap and it is impossible to just get cold water from it. There appears to be a maximum range for the temp adjustment. The water saving feature is an annoyance but can overcome it with simple adjustment. Fitted onto existing pillars without difficulty.

I must be getting old, I normally get excited by things like my plane, motorbikes and cars etc but, I found myself raving over a tap. It was purchased as a replacement for a dripping thermostat tap from a bathroom supplier. The thermostat is more responsive, the controls are smooth and well made, it can be set to give a higher temp than the maximum on the old one. Most impressive for the same feed fittings a better maximum flow rate. When looking I debated between the 800 and more expensive 1000.....the 800 seems perfectly adequate

Bought it to replace an old and cheap Chinese thermostatic faucet. The new one looks pretty much the same, so the only hope it will last longer (the cheap one lasted two years). First thing, the shower outlet has some plastic valve inside which limits the flow from the shower. While very disappointed from the faucet in the beginning because of the low flow from the shower, I found this valve can be removed with no implications and it solved the problem. Very weird choice of limiting the flow with a button. Why would anyone like to limit the flow? Fortunately, it is possible to adjust the handle and avoid the button at all. As for the temperature limit button, it was set too cold, so I had to press it every time. Again, adjusted to the right temperature. Finally, after all these adjustments and DIYs, I like the new faucet. But if you are looking for a plumber to install this for you, be prepared to call him again.

Out of the box it will when installed give you a tepid bath, no doubt due to EC Health and Safety regulations. However if you read the included instruction leaflet it will tell you how to remove the cover from the right hand end of the product and refix the temperature control knob so as to allow a higher maximum setting. Depending on the temperature setting of your boiler this can actually be dangerously high, so go easy on this adjustment if children are likely to use the bath.
