Cheap compressor, but very quiet and ok for domestic use
Bought this on a bit of a punt as price was low at 199 for a supposedly "silent oil free" with twin engines and 50 litres... so far not disappointed though. As others have said packaging was a bit pants.. box was open on delivery and some scuffs on the base and few other things made me wonder if it's a return been resold... but at the price not overly concerned. Very basic, only one air outlet, and some of the fittings felt a little on the cheap side.. but for my use in a domestic workshop tinkering on classic car and odd bit of minor spraying it should hopefully last. Adjusting air output pressure seemed a faff, but again for my needs does the job as it is a static installation feeding a line running round the workshop with outlets that have adjusters on. In terms of noise, that's why it gets 5 stars... ultra quiet in comparison to my old clunker... to the extent that when I first fired it up I did wonder if it was faulty! But seems to get producing full pressure.. Good capacity and short cycle time... almost seems too good to be true ! Time and use will tell I guess !!

Great tool
I have had one of these for two years, what a brilliant tool, so quite, I could have done with larger tank, but that’s my fault, I would recomend this, great tool

Very quiet ideal for home use
Very good value for the price. What you're interested in is how quiet it is. For a compressor, very quiet indeed. I can happily run this at night in my garage and neighbours will not hear it running. It is way quieter than the air tools themselves. It gets up to full charge as quick as a normal compressor so the CFM seems fine. The only negative point was the quality of the finish, to be expected to some degree at this price but the frame for the wheel was so badly lined up I had to manipulate it and bend it before I could got the wheels on. Also had to space out one of the rubber feet with washers to get both feet to contact the floor. The air fittings seem of ok quality and my euro connectors for singly without any air leak. Nice to have two outlets which is handy. Time will tell how long it lasts but for a light home user I would say it's as good as any other Chinese made compressor and I expect to get a good fee years out of it.

Good one. Recommended.
I have been using a 95dB traditional type compressor. Now, this machine replaces the one due to too high level of noise. It was powerful but too loud. I could not talk to someone near the compressor. Now, I can talk and hear next to it while it works. I know there are quieter ones available on the market. I also have Bambi dryer compressor at work VTS150D. Bambi is super silent but it was over 2000 pounds. Other ones (oil free air compressors) which may be 5dB quieter than this product but that would cost at least double. I am extremely happy with the purchase (I bought it for under 100 pounds) and would recommend to anyone looking for a compressor with reasonable level of noise for good price. Also, this is very handy. The air tank is not too big, but not too small. Also the air charging speed is quick enough for my work. Very slim and small. Only one down side is the number of output hole. It has only one and can make up to three if the valve and the pressure gauge is removed. To make one more hole, I removed the pressure gauge as I use external pressure gauge anyway. All in all, reasonably quite and very good product for the price.

Two small air leaks but lovely and quite and appears solid.
It is lovely and quite but did arrive with two air leaks, one I could tighten up the compression fitting the other is minor and I will just live with. Only time will tell on the build quality but it generally looks good.

Very quiet compressor that's a quarter of the cost of an equivalent Machine Mart one - works well
If you've ever used a traditional compressor this will be a revelation. It's not silent (it's 65db) but it's very quiet and not a harsh noise - it hums away in the background. You can talk over it and still here the radio (and your air tools will be way noisier anyway). My previous compressor was 97db by comparison and you didn't want to be in the same room when it was on - sounded like a hurricane! This one holds pressure well (and has the convenience of two outlet pipes and shut-off taps) and has powered all my air tools without issue (drills, orbital sander, tyre inflator, air shears etc). It's as well made as any other Chinese compressor too (the vast majority are made overseas even if they claim to be made in UK - most 'UK made' ones use far east parts and are merely assembled here). When you consider that a similar spec Machine Mart compressor costs around £800, this is a lot of compressor for the money. Really impressed with it - can't comment on long-term durability, but I'm only using it for home use, so I'm sure it will be fine. Minor niggle is the short 240V lead, but it's hardly arduous digging out an extension lead.

Quieter than the Archers.
Enough air supply to handle normal garage duties and also fine for running mist coolant on my milling machine. Don't expect to sand blast with it! It's quiet enough that I can still listen to the Archers when it's running :)

Quiet but effective
Tidy little compressor with a small footprint. It gets up to pressure quite quickly and holds its pressure well, not loosing any air between use. Unlike some on here my cut out is spot on the 8 bars so that issue seemd to have been dealt with. It is very quiet and just sits there purring away when the motor kicks in. As to its life span, we will see. I use it to clean garden power tools (strimmers and chainsaws etc) using a blow gun which it does very well. Nice tool at a good price.

Genau das, was ich gebraucht habe.

Leise, Verarbeitung i.o., günstig. Für den Preis kann man nicht mehr erwarten. Bei meinem Modell war auch im Gegensatz zu den vorherigen Rezensionen eine Schnellkupplung verbaut, nur der Stecker musste getauscht werden.
