This is a 100ml plastic spray bottle filled with Aveda hair thickener. Having used the product before and having been recommended to use this years ago by my hairdresser, this is a no-brainer for anyone wishing to give their hair a boost. Not much is required and this therefore lasts me months. The volumizing tonic does not leave the hair sticky and does provide much needed volume to my fine hair. The current retail price of £22.24 is excellent value compared to purchasing this product direct from department stores.

I wish I could give full five stars but unfortunately the bottle arrived damaged in the bottom. It’s leaking basically, so I need to leave it upside down to avoid any waste, and if you think how expensive is this product you wouldn’t want to waste not even a drop. I didn’t bother to ask a return because as the actual situation is bad during lockdown, I didn’t want to make this complicated. At the end I can manage. For the rest I can say this tonic is amazing. It does what it says: it really add volume to the hair, they appear very nice and big, and thick as well. The smell is delicate but delicious. I will definitely buy again once finish but I guess I’ll last for long time.

Great product, it works a treat

Love this product. It gives my limp (although thick hair) instant lift that seems to last till next shampoo.

I struggle to add volume to my hair, it will fall flat all the time since it is so fine. When I use this product it works great, and I find my volume is best if I don't use too much shampoo (only once - twice a week), and either no conditioner or conditioner. I find conditioner + this spray works wonders.

I have menopause hair and this product definitely works to add volume to my curls. I personally think Aveda products are some of the very best on the market and happy to recommend this and their other ranges. …

Great product and so it should be as it is very expensive. Disappointed that there was a very large label with bar code stuck on the side which will not easily come off and is leaving a residue. Aveda product design is good, but the bottle looks naff. Wouldn’t buy from this company again if it was for a gift!!!

Love this product! I've used Aveda hair products before, having many perfume allergies and liking the scent of their line. Hadn't tried the volumizing tonic and was skeptical of the claims, but my dark reddish-brown hair, baby fine, actually does look thicker and glossier, garnering spontaneous compliments from apartment neighbours. Will continue to use regularly!

Très bon mais ça coûte trop

I have very fine straight hair that usually lays flat on my head. This is the only natural product I’ve found that gives it body and volume without a lot of fuss. After washing my hair (only every 5-6 days) I spray this near the roots, massage it in, then put my hair up in a loose ponytail on top of my head and let it dry. My hair looks fuller and thicker for days. Very happy with it.

I was first introduced to this product by my hairdresser. I purchased this, and am pleased. My hair is thinning, and quite fine. I use this along with my mousse, and this combination works better than the mousse alone. I will be purchasing again .
