Moleskine, Smart Writing Set, Notebook and Pen + Smartpen, Notebook with Black Hard Cover - Suitable to Use with Pen Moleskine +, Black Color - Dotted Sheets

Not a big review writer, but this has been worth it. My son spotted this in a Moleskine shop in London and we got a demo. I like my gadgets and tried a pen like this years ago, it was alright but how the technology has moved on. I am already using this pen and notebook in all my work meetings and hardly think about it now. (Although I have to admit to forgetting to turn it on a couple of times and had to rewrite a few lines but I think that is more about teaching old dogs new tricks) It is amazing as I don't have to have the app running but love how it catches up. I write lists, draw mind maps, take meeting notes just like I did before but now it takes less time to write them up as the transcribing is very impressive. It isn't perfect but it is good enough to save a lot of time. It struggles with my bullets and action boxes but I personally would worry if it was too perfect as I wouldn't pay attention and just send it out without thinking. Reviewing the points after the meeting is what I need as I add all the nuances and info that I didn't have time to write in the meeting. A bonus to this new way of working is that I can email diagrams and notes to staff right from the book which has saved time in meetings, not having to scan or photograph the scribblings of a madman. So would I recommend it to someone else? I am not sure I need to as colleagues have watched and have been impressed, noting down the details which speaks volumes to me. I am very pleased with it and continue to use it everyday. I look forward to new notebooks and further app enhancements as I have a feeling that there is more this technology can do for us.

Brilliant I was worried when I read some of the reviews but I had no problems at all. Made sure the pen was fully charged, downloaded the app, started writing in book. I have brought another book and I run the two books together, brilliant. Thank you. Ann x

This for me is the best of this type of pen, it does what it's meant to do! I would have given 5 stars but have been unable to sync across devices and cannot find the app for my Kindle 10" Fire! If anyone has managed this feel free to let me know (likely to be user error!!)

This product does not work and Moleskine customer support is amongst the worst I have ever experienced. I don't like to write negative reviews but in this case I need to warn other potential customers of Moleskine that this is in no way up to their high standards. Not only does the Smart Pen not read writing, their customer support is exceptionally poor. After purchasing this Pen I tried it, it did not work at all. I went to online support and phone support who asked me to turn it off and on again a few times. This was not successful. I then said that I wanted to return it. No response. I asked again. No response. After 3 months of this I was fed up with being out of pocket for a notebook and pen with nothing smart about it and still received no response. After 6 months I received an email apologising for their lack of customer service and saying that they would replace the pen if I sent it back to them. After seeing other reviews it is clear that the product does not work and is not up to the high standards of Moleskine. It is meant to be a time saver but it costs a huge amount of time, money and now my loyalty to the Moleskine brand.

Hello! Can someone help? I have paired the pen to my iPhone successfully, and have downloaded the Moleskine Notes app. When I write it does not pick up my writing, unless I press really hard, at which point I’m lucky if just 1 dot shows up.... Help?

A great way to keep your notes electronically. Write or draw it in the notebook and it syncs over to your other devices. Pure, malevolent genius! Loved it so much, I also bought the 2018 diary!

Works amazing!

The app is a pain and you can't use it with your laptop. As well as this, if your phone is disconnected while you're writing, it won't sync up. Vastly overpriced. The writing experience and notebook are lovely, though.

I was pretty surprised with all the different applications there are for the pen and paper, that there weren't any that I found to be very easy or fun to use. I still can't figure out how to use the handwriting to text feature. I mean it's not very easy to save your work once you convert it. Say you write your notes in a checklist sort of way where you have several inches in-between the words like this for example Orange juice from Market. $2.00 Pasta sauce from Kroger $2.00 It won't save it that way. It'll all be ran together when you go into the app to upload your work. Very annoying when editing because there's no way to edit and save for later either. At least I haven't figured it out. The note book is kinda cool but a tad smaller than I'dike it to be. The pen itself was very poorly designed. Or it's just not meant for females or anyone with smaller hands. It's odd shape is not very easy to hold st all. I do love the whole concept and I'm trying to adapt to it, from the pen the notebook to the app. I just want to love it so bad because I've been dreaming of the concept for years before it actually came out. I hope someone improves it the way I'd imagined it to be. My Rocketbook for now is taking center stage. Please improve the pen shape!! And the available apps!

Da gibt es eine Reihe von Bewertungen zum Moleskine PTSETA Smart Writing Set, die nicht so gut ausfallen - das kann ich überhaupt nicht verstehen. Ich kam auf Anhieb gut mit dem Stift zurecht! Die Übertragung ist einwandfrei schnell und ohne dass ich stark aufdrücken muss, wie das teilweise kritisiert wird. Einen guten Tipp fand ich bei einem der Rezensenten, dass man am Stift die Plastik-Schutzkappe entfernen muss. Natürlich kann er dann nicht schreiben, wenn dieses winzige Plastikteil dazwischen ist. Bis jetzt hat sich der Stift noch nicht ganz aufgeladen, aber in meiner Ungeduld habe ich ihn einfach trotzdem verwendet und es klappt wirklich sehr gut. Ich bin mit allem noch ziemlich am Anfang, aber trotzdem ganz zufrieden. Was für Möglichkeiten die App bietet, habe ich natürlich noch nicht ganz rausgefunden. Bis jetzt haben die ersten Schritte aber einwandfrei funktioniert - genauso, wie es in den Produkt-Videos gezeigt wird. Zur Speicherkapazität kann ich, nachdem ich das Moleskine PTSETA Smart Writing Set erst einige Stunden besitze, noch nichts sagen. Genauso nicht wirklich zum Komfort. Obwohl ich eigentlich bis jetzt die Bedienung klasse fand. Ganz billig ist der Spaß natürlich nicht. Und wie sich das bewährt, dass ich dann später ein zweites Buch benötige, ist noch nicht wirklich zu beurteilen. Die Tablet-Form des Seitenbeschnitts am Buch finde ich jetzt nicht so prickelnd, sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig beim Blättern. Irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl, dass es so leichter verschmutzt. Das wird sich auch noch zeigen. Ich möchte das Moleskine PTSETA Smart Writing Set verwenden, um auch unterwegs Skizzen und Zeichnungen zu machen, ohne mordsmäßig viel Equipment mit mir herumzuschleppen und es liegt mir viel daran, dass ich die Arbeiten unkompliziert auf allen Geräten verfügbar habe, ohne lange einscannen zu müssen, abfotografieren zu müssen oder kopieren zu müssen und ich will spontan verschicken können, ohne eben diese vorgenannten Prozedere zu durchlaufen. 🎄Ich habe mir das Moleskine PTSETA Smart Writing Set selbst zu Weihnachten geschenkt! 🎄

Lo he comprado aprovechando el descuento de 99 € y funciona muy bien, la digitalización a texto es muy buena y funciona incluso sin usar la tinta del boli, aunque obviamente la libreta se queda en blanco y sólo tienes el texto en la app, pero como ya digo el registro es muy bueno, no hay que apretar ni nada. Ahora en mis partidas de rol podemos escribir notas secretas al teléfono del máster, y si tienes que trabajar en redacción de textos puedes hacerlo sin el ordenador para editarlo después
