Rust-Oleum 400ml Polyurethane Varnish Spray Paint Aerosol - Clear Gloss

No dislikes, used to lacquer a guitar body. Leave about 24hrs between coats. Mist coat first, then build up multiple coats, wet flat with p400 between coats. I got a high gloss finish, but needed 18 coats. Wet flat with p1200, then t-cut for final finish. Its not quick, patience and time and preperation is key to a brilliant result from a noddy can.

Great cover, clear finish, protects well

This stuff is pretty decent like most rattle cans make sure you put the can in a bowl of hot tap water for 5 minutes before spraying to avoid the can spitting , also if you use this product on a white surface the more coats you use the finish will have a amber tint the description on the can that says non yellowing is misleading this product should be used on dark surfaces if you are planning on using a clear coat on white surfaces stuff like U-POL clear acrylic is the way to go

Nice look. really seems to work leaving wood like water repellent/proof after treatment. For a wooden 3 seat bench 3 cans.

I have to say - this stuff is superb. Spray works beautifully and gives a superb finish with no runs and a good gloss.

The coverage started off well but soon started splattering the varnish in big blobs from the nozzle . I’ve used this product before ( a few years ago ) with ok results but this was terrible ….. leaving a patchy coverage too as if it was faulty ?! Even after months of hardening too it’s easily scratched . For these reasons I’d suggest avoiding this product sadly
