Q: is this old stock or how at this price?

No, these are not old stock, they are well within the dates. Most have a year or more on them. I've purchased from this supplier previously. As to the price, it's usually because it's purchased in on a discount that is passed on to the customer. Lintbells does the same when they offer a 20-25% discount at various times. This supplier offers it as a matter of course.

Q: Would these work as preventative measure, my 2 choc labs have been on high strength flexi joint tablets for years. What is the difference -p?

Hello!I'm not sure what the active ingredients are, but our dog was limping and stiff after long walks, and we've had no issues with her joints since. Her mobility has improved but other than glucosamine supplements we hadn't tried anything prescribed as another dog walker recommended this first. Our dog is only 3 but is a breed prone to hip dysplasia so we also wanted to use this as a preventative before her symptoms got worse. Hope your labs are ok! :)

I have no idea. They Do help my 10 year old with her joints though. I would highly recommend these to anyone who have a dog with joint problems.
