Tefal Multi-Cook Advanced 45-in-1 Multi-Cooker, RK812142

Update after 1 year of almost daily usage: I love my little chef more than ever! The electric consumption is very low, it saved me tons of time due to its cooking functions, I have lost weight due to having cooked with bare minimum amount of oil, the food tastes great, the cleaning is fast,I am a very happy customer.I love this cooker.I've bought it out of the necessity to be self sufficient in a house share where the kitchen gets crowded and now, after 3 months of having used it almost daily, I couldn't be happier with it.I can only use a drop of oil when I fry meat, eggs, or cook vegetables, the food tastes great, I lost weight, I am happy to have nice hot, home made meals every day again and I don;t need to clean the whole kitchen afterwards! It's my little personal chef and I have great food every day.

Owned for an hour.... and have made two different things. Both very good. Don't suppose i'll ever bother with most of the settings though.My advice.... give it a go especially if you cook and freeze,Tip------- chuck the instructions in the bin its all fairly obvious on the front panel.... The "DIY" setting will probably be enough for me..UPDATE (after 5 hours of ownership) ------ Having been cooking now nonstop since the Tefal "54 in 1" arrived. I can safely say this will pretty much replace the cooker... the whole thing about "45 in 1" is of course utter cobblers and silly sales speak but having said that it really is impressive and well thought out. I'm rather taken by the Harry Potter type "cauldren"!Think of it as a fast slow cooker.------ Day 2 of ownership update-----Best rice I have ever had.... took maybe 20 mins. Yoghurt and porridge all came out fine....The only downsides are I think it will be a bitch to keep clean... and the instructions are well..... absurd. Anyway there we are. Will review again at Xmas when I try an xmas pudding in it..

JUST RECEIVED MY COOKER FROM AMAZON ABOUT 45 MINUTES AGO BUT HAVE ALREADY UNPACKED IT, SET IT UP, & FINISHED COOKING MY GREATEST EVER RICE WITHOUT EVEN READING THE MANUAL BUT WILL READ IT LATER TONIGHT, CAN YOU BELEVE IT,I KNOW ITS JUST WAY TOO QUICK TO LEAVE A FEEDBACK AFTER JUST SOME FEW MINUTES BUT ITS A MANIFEST OF HOW SURPRISED, HAPPY, & CONFIDENT I FEELS, HAPPY I DIDNT LISTEN TO THE 3 STARS & BELOW PEOPLE BECAUSE EVERYTHING THEY COMPLAINED SEEMS TO BE TOTALLY FALSE, THE MACHINE IS LIGHT AS 12 INCH LAPTOP, STURDY, SUPER SILENT, & UNBELIEVABLY SAFE, CAN NEVER BE BURNED AS NO WHERE ON THE EXTERIOR GETS HOT AND EVERYTHING JUST HAPPENS INSIDE,THE MENU IS THE EASIEST & CLEAREST & YES HAVE JUST OWNED IT FOR 45 MINIUTES BUT FIRMLY BELIEVES ITS GONNA DO SOME WONDERS,THANKS AMAZON

I actually bought this product because I wanted a decent rice cooker... but I have used it for Rice once. It's bloody useful this thing. You just chuck anything in there and turn it on... Literally! I first struggled to find that many varieties of things to cook in it, but you realise after a couple of uses that you can literally just make up everything! It's useful to know in the UK most of what this thing cooks are known as "one-pot recipes". Not only does it really make everything tasty, but it's also cheap! The unit is cheap and the cost of food it makes is also cheap, I often have 3 days of meals out of one load (just for me) otherwise each load can feed around 6 hungry people! Best of all you just smash it in the dishwasher and boom no cleaning involved. If you are lazy this is literally the dream kitchen appliance, the hobs not been used since I got it!This thing has enabled me to eat more homemade healthy food, it saved me time, it made me more creative in the kitchen and it's saved me a ton of money. I would recommend this to any deliveroo addict.

I've had my eye on this product a while and took the opportunity to purchase it on sale recently. I already had a tefal 8 in 1 multicooker for a few years which is used daily for items such as porridge, rice, steaming veg, cakes - and this fancier 45 in 1 appealed to me because of all the added cooking options and the ability to tailor the temperature and time on many programs. The instructions and recipes on this item are limited though the device itself is clearly more versatile. I would really like to see tefal bring out a dedicated phone app with recipes or a larger recipe book than the leaflet style one included with the machine,There are a few FB groups where people share ideas and recipes and offer tips which is somewhat helpful.I know I personally will get a lot of use out of this device but it will take a little adapting of standard recipes to make the most of this multicooker. I was very exited to see the kefir, cream cheese and yoghurt functions as this suits our family too. I made porridge this morning using the overnight delay timer. The recipe book suggests the quantity is for 4 people and that this is the maximium volume for the machine. I found it served 2 large or 3 smaller portions - you wouldn't get a lot sharing with 4! The porridge was perfectly cooked and delicious!Tefal if you can bring out a recipe phone app or big recipe book to complement this multicooker I think you would sell a lot more of these especially to the less experienced / confident cooks!
