I always have and always will use these face paints for my kids. We have allergies to all barr 2 washing powders and even then we still itch shampoo soap etc it's all the same. These face paints I've been using since my eldests first Halloween, so October 2008. Never been a rash, itch, redness and she's even slept with it on all night because shes crashed after a party and never has she nor my 2 allergy kids ( dairy, soya, coconut etc) reacted I'm any way. I've tried using friends cheap facepaints to paint their kids faces and it's just cheap crap, it barely shows on the skin, it's hard to put on and hard to get it off without rubbing their skin red. Now I take my own face paints with me. Yes you pay more but it's like everything, you get what you pay for, and more. Peace of mind that it's not damaging their skin ( its actually really oily almost like it has moisturiser in it?) One coat is all it takes, add water to get it started and if it's not working like painting normal paint on paper then it needs more water on, the sponge is brilliant for full face coverage, allow to dry before painting details on. It lasts for ages, dont soak it as in have it swimming and make sure to clean the brush between colours so you dont mix then and mess it up but should you accidentally put the brush in the wrong colour give it a quick trickle under the tap and it will save your yellow or white from becoming a dirty colour.

So at first I wasn't sure about the product and thought it was slightly expensive. However, after I used it on my son for world book day, I was actually surprised at how good it is. The colours are nice and deep and blend together beautifully. You do need to apply a small out of water onto the paint and then you can pretty much control how light and dark you want the paint depending on how much water you use. The sponge and paintbrush are both great. The sponge washes really well. To remove the face paint, I simply used a baby wipe and then washed my son's face with warm water. He has had no reactions and to be honest, he has been asking me to paint his face every night since. This is definitely worth the money.

The paints are good quality, go on smoothly and brightly with the brushes. However, they do seem to want to pop out of the palette very easily. We have other snazaroo kits which don't do this. I used these as part of an after school science and engineering club, the children painted their own faces as part of a Halloween session. The children absolutely loved the activity, predictably the paints are a bit of a mess now quite mushed up (not the lovely firm paints you start with). This is to be expected letting children loose with a set that needs applying with a brush and not the fault of the paints. Having said that I'm sure we've had previous kits that were a bit firmer when moisture was added. The colours are bright and they wash off in a bath or with a flannel very easily.

My granddaughters have absolutely ENDLESS FUN with these face paints. The best I have found and easy to remove. I keep having to re-order but they are worth it. Just enough colours to keep the fun rolling and the book of suggested face paint designs is absolutely vital to the success of this good value Face Paint Kit. I can't recommend it highly enough. We have a corner where the grandchildren can go at any time to faceprint themselves and everyone else. I keep a supply of cleansing wipes handy so the children can remove the paint themselves and choose another design. Just remember to look in the mirror before you leave the house!

This Snazaroo Halloween face paint kit was exactly what I needed to pull off spooky but safe makeup for my kids. The colors are bold and smooth — with just a few drops of water they glided on beautifully and blended nicely. Black and white stayed crisp all evening, and even after trick-or-treating and some rain, the design still looked good. Cleanup was a breeze: a gentle wash with soap and warm water removed everything without scrubbing. I didn’t notice any irritation or smell. The kit gives great value — there was more paint left over than I expected. My only tiny gripe is that the sponge included could be better — I used my own sponge for large areas and a fine brush for detail work. But overall, it’s a fantastic choice for Halloween face painting. Highly recommended for parents wanting safe, reliable, and fun face paint for their kids!

I found the paint was set hard in the small palet and I had to continually wet it and press down hard to get colour on the sponge provided, this was mainly with the white. Basically It served its purpose for halloween and as a one off use.

I've bought snarzroo basic body paint products every year since I was a 8 year old child. This was the first year I couldn't get the supply I needed in all there colours. Perhaps due to a high demand now? They have always been the affordable option whiles being top quality and I hope this remains to be. So I had to for this Halloween buy there new mini kit. For one time Halloween/ event or weekend events it works. You get large colour pallette in a small package. I'd say they could still make the packaging smaller whiles not loosing the amount of face paint you get. The brushs that come with the kit will do the job and it's good enough for me but if your standards are high use your own brushes or use your hands. I'm still going to buy there original colours which they sell in a large pack now for my usual creative arts so I can mix for colours they don't offer. Hopefully there colour spectrum they sell remains wide and large amounts for us regular customers.

Works ok. Very easy to use. Comes off very easy with water. Only nothing I didn’t like was that it’s very watery so it’s not too strong in the face. But for kids it’s perfect I guess…

Product came damaged but usable

Great face painting kit, easy to use and can be used by children to paint their own face or by more experience users to make intricate face paint. Will buy again!
