Applied this with the gardenia spreader over a large area of grass as per instructions and waited for results. Suggest you don’t watch the grass grow daily but after 10 days the colour of grass was appreciably greener and weeds nailed. Major side effects including grass growing at an alarming rate but looking healthier and green. Used this in combination with a Hyundai scarifier and the garden is a joy to behold.Not cheap but worth the money.

North facing lawn, bordered by trees and neighbours who can't tell the difference between grass and clover; the lawn has it's challenges. Evergreen complete tackles the inevitable moss buildup over winter, provides sufficient fertiliser to really help it thicken and green up afterwards AND now kills off the clover and most weeds too (that takes a few weeks longer). I apply a dose at the start of spring and another a couple of months later. I no longer need to get the Verdone out to kill any weeds.It is not as convenient as a liquid fertiliser and you do need to be careful to apply evenly (or you'll see telltale stripes where you've double dosed or missed a bit), but it's much more effective and long-lasting. Get a proper dispenser as the hand-held walk up and down method can be a bit hit and miss.

I've used this product a few years now and it really makes a difference to the lawn. Make to spread it evenly ass much as you can. I typically do a few little runs first just generally over the lawn, then wait a few days and you can start to see any patches missed. then go again and target only those areas.Key thing to get the most out of it is to ensure that you water the product in! The first few times I thought I'd leave it as it was due to rain, but then this tends to scorch the grass if left too long. So now I always water it after spreading for the best effect.Also, if you spill any, then make sure to clear it up and spread it around from the area, otherwise this will also scorch the grass and leave you a nice black patch for a long time. It does eventually come back stronger and extremely green but this take the grass a long time!

This is a great product and really brings your grass to life, but this comes with a warning. It is really easy to burn you grass if you use a little to much and kill of the top growth. It will grow back stronger and greener but better to under apply than over apply. I had great results spreading by hand but first time I used the evergreen drop spreader (at the setting listing on the bag) it over applied and burnt 60% of top growth. I will still use but at a much lower setting in future. So a great product but needs to be applied with caution.

Just after I bought this I walked into a supermarket and they were selling off 12kg bags of it for £8! That aside, this is a pretty good product and I have been using it for years to maintain a lawn. I moved house last year and the new lawn was full of weeds and moss almost to the point where I contemplated replacing it. I brought out the big guns and went to town on it. It takes a while and you need to be patient, but it will kill the weeds and moss, but don't overapply or be tempted to give multiple treatments. A few days after application you will need to thouroughly water it in if it hasn't rained. There will be some black grass, but it's only temporary. There may be a strong metallic smell to it and you will need to keep pets off else it gets on their paws and they could lick them and ingest it.Some weeds die off faster than others. The moss will need to be gently raked out and this could leave some big bare patches depending on how infested you are. It may pay to rake through the thicker grass too as moss can be hidden. Grass seed can be put down a few weeks after treatment.I had to give the lawn a lighter second treatment a few months in, but eventually I had a weed free garden. This year I gave it a spring treatment and later in the year I just spot treated areas of weed as I was using a spray in feed (It won't permanently prevent weeds).Sadly, it doesn't stop my dog peeing on the lawn and killing off patches, but I do have a nice thick, dark green, weed free lawn.
