Honestly everything else makes my hair looks greasy. This is worth the money I wont use anything else. Texture is great, dont need much and holds very well. Makes your hair fluffy and holds volume really well.

I use a different Uppercut product at my barber and ordered this Matte Pomade by mistake instead of the one I actually meant to get. Kept it anyway. That tells you most of what you need to know. It's a proper matte finish. Not "matte-ish" or "low shine", which is rarer than it should be in hair products that claim it. You only need a small amount, which means 100g lasts considerably longer than you'd expect. Hold is good without feeling heavy or stiff. Whether you're buying it deliberately or accidentally like I did, it's a quality product. I'd recommend going small on the first scoop, less than you think you need, then build from there.
