Great, fantastic, get it you will love it! I bought this game for my son for Christmas as he had requested. It is such a fantastic game that can be played by any age really. Simple to play but with loads of entertainment value. We have played it loads of times with our teenagers and other family members and friends. We have now bought the extra set of cards as we did start to get a few repititions. However, you will find that even if several people get the same card, the game is never the same. Buy it now, for hours of fun entertainment

Great way to reinvigorate the game, as with the original cards these too are beautifully designed and varied. I would certainly recommend these to boost the game plus they come in a nice little box as pictured. The service from the seller was great too.

Dixit 2 is the expansion kit for the 2010 Spiel des Jahres winning game Dixit. We have several previous winning games (Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, Carcasonne, Zooloretto etc) and they are all family favourites, continually providing an enjoyable playing experience over and over again. We couldn't wait to get our hands on this years winner, but being out of stock, we bought the expansion kit. This has 84 random cards you use as the basis for the storytelling. It does not have any scoring markers or voting cards, but I don't think we've missed out on any enjoyment. We simply use a paper and pencil for scoring, and vote using playing cards. (We've downloaded the rules from the Dixit website) The fun comes in the storytelling and trying to match cards to win more points. And what fun we've had. We all play (2 adults, 9 year old and 7 year old) and get equal enjoyment out of it. My wife and I were amazed the first few times we played it at how lateral and metaphorical our kids could be. The basic game is that you each have 6 cards with random pictures. One player, the storyteller, uses a phrase to "describe" one of his / her cards, and places this face down. All other players then choose a card in their hand that could also be described by that phrase, and pass the hand to the storyteller, who shuffles the cards and places them face up for all to see. Each player (except the storyteller) then votes, secretly so as not to influence others, for the card they think is the one. Scoring depends on whether everyone picks the storyteller's card or not, and who votes for different cards. The game is fast moving enough to not get boring, and takes about 20 - 30 minutes to play. The only drawback seems to be that scoring is fairly linear, so if someone pulls out a large lead early on, it is difficult to catch up. Many other Spiel des Jahres winners have a scoring mechanism where significant points are earned at the end of the game that can overturn apparently unassailable leads. Overall, I'd highly recommend this game. We've enjoyed playing with as just adults, as a family, across three generations, and each time everyone has enjoyed it, and wanted to play again.

Lovely artwork. Great game. Easy to learn. The whole family loves this and it gets to the table every weekend. Highly recommended.

I became a fan of this whole Dixit universe mainly due to the beautifulness of the pictures on the cards. The game itself isnt anything too special, but the sole images and amount of details on them - even the boxs, I might add - look overwhelming. For this reason, I decided to get closer to it and got all 3 sets of the game (Dixit, Dixit 2 and Odyssey), and just before opening my package I was extremely excited. However, something in particular immediatly got my attention. I got very curious when I didnt see "Dixit 2" as a small box containing the 84 cards - that I was expecting to find -, and saw in its place one major 17,5cm x 19,5cm x 12,5cm box. Upon opening this box, I noticed that inside of it there were not 1, but 12 smaller boxes, each of them containing the expected pack of 84 cards, that would make the Dixit 2 installment. Thats 12 times the same 84 cards, for a total of 1008 cards (repeated, but still) and for the price of just one. Now I can marvel enough at the amazingness of these games, since I wont be running short on cards anytime soon LOL. Not that Im complaining or anything, but thats obviously a minus to the seller. As for the item itself, "Thank you very much" to whoever gave it to the world.

Lovely new cards to add to Dixit, or use as a standalone game if you write your own scores. We are big fans of Dixit, and have played it with everyone that has come round, and it is a big hit with everyone. The new cards are just as good. I recommend it, as it gives more variety when you play.

We played the Dixit game with friends and really fell in love with it.Consequently we bought the game for ourselves and had hours and hours of joy playing it with different people.They all loved it ,too and bought us an extension card set for us,too. We have now bought the Original game and an extension set for friends because we are moving away,and they loved playing it so much ! It is one of these games where it doesn't matter if one wins- it's mostly about the fun playing it.It is played in the round,so everybody picks a card and tells a clue about it..then the Others try and find a card on their hand to match the clue and pass it on to the One whose turn it is.Then all the cards are laid out in the middle and the players guess which was the original card.. .The game challenges your fantasy, it brings you lots of fun,and the time passes far too quickly while you are having fun with your friends or family.We can both highly highly recommend it ! The delivery was very very quick,too.

The artwork is amazing - beautiful, clever and sometimes creepy. The game plays really well with these cards as there's plenty to spark the imagination. I probably prefer this set to the original.

Wir haben schon eine Weile Dixit 1, ein wundervolles Spiel für gemütliche Abende mit Freunden. Einziger Nachteil war, das man mit den 84 Karten relativ schnell durch war und von vorn anfangen musste, die Runden waren dadurch nicht besonders abwechslungsreich (wir spielen oft mit 5 oder 6 Leuten), da es eben nicht so viele verschiedene Karten waren. Das war auch der Grund warum wir uns die Erweiterungskarten gekauft haben. Dadurch das es doppelt soviele Karten sind, bleiben immer welche auf dem Stapel liegen, man kann also nicht mehr abschätzen welche Karten die anderen Spieler noch auf der Hand haben könnten. Das Spiel wird dadurch nochmal wesentlich interessanter. Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen sich auch Dixit 2 zu kaufen. Die neuen Karten sind genauso liebevoll und detailreich gestaltet. Selbst nach 10 oder 20 Spielen findet man immerwieder neue Assoziationen. Alles in allem ein tolles Spiel!

Ampliación 2 de Dixit que incluye nuevos dibujos con los que jugar y trabajar la creatividad, las emociones y el dialogo con nuestros amigos o con nuestros hijos y familiares. No es sólo un juego. Podemos explorar los sentimientos de todos los que nos rodean y aprender a conocerles y que nos conozcan.

4歳と6歳の子がかなりはまってくれました！ 想像力のない子にはちょっと厳しいのかもしれませんが、ルールをアレンジすればかなり色んな遊びができると思います。 また、大人だけでこのカードゲームをすると心理テスト以上に深層心理が見えてしまいかなり面白いです。 最近ではホームパーティーに欠かせず、1度やった友人たちも魅了され、シリーズ1を即、オーダーしたよといって持ってきてくれたので混ぜて遊んでいます。 心理学を学んでいますがその観点からしても非常におすすめのゲームです。

Ha venido totalmente nuevo! Todo en sus plásticos y a pesar de lo que estamos viviendo con el tema Covid-19, me ha llegado en una semana! Estupendo todo, voy a dejar unas fotos para que lo veáis. El plástico principal que venía se lo he quitado antes de hacer las fotos, pero se ve con claridad que es totalmente nuevo!

Me encanta, los dibujos de las cartas son preciosos, he comprado hasta la segunda expansión, es muy imaginativo
