Very beautiful , well made
I can't comment on the heater or how long it will hold up ,but as for the stand is fantastic for the price.Yes, a bit of time to put it together took us 3 or 4 hours.The unit is solid made out of quality covered pressed board/wood.The color is darker than the photo shows by personally I loved the color in real life better.It says it will hold up to 45 inch tv mine is a 40 but it is so solid I would not be afraid to put a 50 inch Tv if it was a newer lighter TV.It is lovely in my living room and it looks like a $1000 stand.If you have patience and someone to help you it is not too bad to put together. I recommend it.

Perfect!!
My husband got me this for Christmas. We have thoroughly enjoyed it. We got it with the intention of putting it in the living room with the TV on top, etc. We decided when we got it to just place it as a stand alone and put pictures on top. It really warms the rooms well (we have an open area of kitchen/dining rm/living room) and it saves on the heating unit being used for the rest of the house. We like the bedrooms cooler when we sleep so it's perfect. It is a very beautiful piece. If I had a bigger house, I'd buy another one.

The finished product is pretty slick, it does take a good couple of hours to put it together. Mine was damaged in shipping, part of the wood finish was broken off and the fireplace mechanism was making a clicking noise which I was able to resolve by opening it up and adjusting the spindle.

I really like the fireplace and you can use just the flames or both. I bought it to put my 40 inches of tv on it and it works very well. It also fits in the corner very well too. I also love the color of the set.

I love it
It looks Nice and is sturdy, even though it is not real wood. The color is darker than what is shown in picture, but a nice rich color. Very Happy with the detailing and the fireplace and heater work good.

Nice looking, but many parts.
Once its together it is a nice unit. There are more parts to this unit than you can imagine. I am use to putting furniture together and it still took me two hours. The door above the fire place is not hinged; it is designed to pull off. This door on our unit is a little difficult to put back in place. If you need to open it often you will probably end up leaving the door off, but it looks just as good without the door.
