The GEVI 2.0 Pellet Ice Maker is by far the best ice maker I’ve owned. Right out of the box, it exudes quality — solid construction, sleek design, and attention to detail. Setup was simple, and I had it plumbed using the included hose in just a few minutes. It took a couple of hours to produce the first full tub of ice, but once it got going, it’s been fantastic. The ice quality is excellent, and what really stands out is the superior insulation. It keeps the ice frozen for an impressively long time, far better than my previous machines. I also appreciate the automatic recirculation system that reuses the water efficiently and refills itself as needed. In addition to its performance, the GEVI 2.0 looks great — modern, elegant, and built to complement any kitchen or bar area. Overall, this is a well-designed, high-performing ice maker that delivers on every promise. Highly recommended!

Love it, makes ice fast and the ice holds up in the glass. I’ve tastes perfect. It’s big but I love the design, the bucket slides out to fill coolers. It cleans easily too. It’s a little loud but we have gotten use to it. Still a five star item for us!!!

First of all, Amazon will package these on their side even though they should not - it explicitly says "Keep this end up". You can't control what a carrier might do with it but making an attempt to do the right thing from the get go would be nice. Secondly, it's loud, much louder than the Mueller unit it replaced (that's why I removed one star). Finally, it makes good ice. :)

I should have known better but this is the only ice make I can find that actually connects to a waterline. This thing is GARBAGE. I'm on my 3rd one. The first one was replaced with the Amazon warranty after just over a year, it just quit making ice. The second one lasted only 2 weeks. This is the "new" V2 (because that naming makes so much sense). Woke up one morning and the ICE and CLEAN light was on after about only 10 days. So put the cleaner in it and press the clean button and about 90 seconds later it just turns off. Turn it back on and it gos back to making ice but now it only make about one tiny scoop of ice. Thats all it does now,

Not my first pellet ice machine, but it’s definitely the best I’ve had! This is a great ice machine. It’s quieter than average, substantially quieter than quite a few out there. The drain hoses in the back make cleaning a breeze & it even has the option of hooking it up to your tap water source - assuming you have tap water worth using. For those of us who want to use bottled water, the door opens fully, giving you ample room to add water. The design makes it extremely difficult to spill or sown water out of the machine while adding water, no matter how uncoordinated you may be or how big a rush you may be in. It is a pellet ice maker. Pellet ice has the softer, “chewier” consistency because it’s not as cold. The insulation on this machine keeps the ice colder than usual, though. Which translates to a slower melt rate and decreased cycling. Makes plenty of ice for my household of 2 heavy ice users. When I anticipate needing more, I simply transfer the full bin’s contents to a freezer bag and collect until I have enough.

My freezer is small, no ice maker. Never room for trays. My daughter bought an icemaker somewhere probably Amazon and liked it. Didn't help me. I just need some ice for gatherings for drinks or maybe a small cooler. This came up and looked interesting with a 35.00 coupon off. Now I had to be a fool not to get it. It was practically jumping in my cart. I actually put it in my cart and spoke to my oldest daughter about it. She had no opinion. I ordered it. It's wonderful. Everything it says it is and just as easy as it says it is. Small bullets of ice are very small. Little kids would love them. Large are just fine. Don't expect to get enough for a large cooler unless you start making it say 3 to 4 days in advance. I immediately made about 5 gallon sized bags full. I laid them flat in my freezer. Now I have some ice if needed. Pictures of 2 gallon baggies. Would reccomend. Would buy again. Blue color pretty.
